# Confederacy of Independent Systems # Count Dooku ## Overview
Dooku, a force-sensitive Serennian, is a man of many titles: Head of State of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, former Jedi Master, and Count of Serenno. After being discovered as a force-sensitive, he was raised and trained as a Jedi, apprenticing under [Grand Master Yoda](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/characters-ndi/page/yoda "Yoda") himself.
Dooku was, during his time in the [Jedi Order](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/factions-vZw/page/jedi-order "The Jedi Order"), and many suspect still is, one of the most skilled lightsaber-duelists in the galaxy. With many believing him to be second only to Grand Master Yoda, and an equal to Mace Windu. He is a master, and likely **the** master of the Makashi form. Throughout his time in the Order, Dooku also excelled in his knowledge and skill with the force, especially with his use of Force Telekensis.
In the few instances he has appeared in the Clone Wars so far, it seems he still values honor and recognises those who put the same importance in the quality as he does. He also seems to be amenable to Jedi who share the same beliefs and values he does, as seen by the acceptance of Quinlan Vos as one of his acolytes.
As Head of State of the [Confederacy of Independent Systems](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/factions-vZw/chapter/the-confederacy "CIS"), he is the leader of the [Separatist Military](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/factions-vZw/page/separatist-military "The Separatist Military"), presides over the Separatist Parliament, and presides over the Executive Separatist Council.
Whenever Dooku enters a battlefield, it seems that a large Droid force is often attached to him. In the few instances of the Count appearing on the frontlines, it is always with multiple hunter pods, armored units, and Separatist starfighters. Additionally, the Count seems to have many different personal guard units, ranging from his Sith Acolytes, Commando Droids, or even Pyke Sentinels.
## Early Life
Dooku was born on Serenno to Count Gora and Countess Anya, and after he was discovered to be force-sensitive, he was shortly kicked out by his father and taken by the Jedi Order. He would begin his training as a youngling and befriended Sifo-Dyas.
His skills, knowledge, and personality seemed to have impressed Grand Master Yoda, who took him on as a Padawan. Under his Master’s guidance, Dooku furthered both his lightsaber skills and his connection and strength with the Force.
​After passing his Jedi Knight trials, Dooku quickly rose through the ranks and became a Jedi Master. He had three Padawans, the first being Rael Aveross. The last being an unknown female who the Jedi Order have not released information; however, it was known that she had turned to the Dark Side and was eliminated. Interestingly, it seems that Dooku had kept her curved double blade lightsabers and given them to his now Sith Apprentice, [Assajj Ventress](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/characters-ndi/page/asajj-ventress "Asajj Ventress"). His most famous Padawan was Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn, an exceptional Jedi who lost his life fighting the Sith Maul.
Being an idealist, and witnessing the rise of corruption in the Senate, and the Jedi’s willingness to let said corruption grow, he grew dissatisfied with the Order. After local troubles in his home planet of Serenno, he decided to part with the Jedi Order to take over the duties and responsibilities as the Count of Serenno

The first appearance of Count Dooku during the Clone Wars happened during the crisis on the Republic Venator “Triumphant”. During a meeting with Foreman Wat Tambor aboard the Triumphant, the [Senators](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/characters-ndi/chapter/galactic-senate "Galactic Senate") ordered his arrest, causing a CIS Fleet to arrive from hyperspace and detain all Republic personnel on board.
Once all Republic personnel were detained by Droid Forces, Count Dooku boarded and spoke to the captured personnel. During this time, he spoke with Obi-Wan Kenobi, the former Padawan of Qui-Gon Jinn. Dooku personally executed a Senator who was responsible for the arrest of Wat Tambor, stating his distaste for warmongers. Interestingly, he spared a [Navy](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/battalions/page/republic-star-fleet "Republic Star Fleet") Admiral who refused to join the Confederacy, saying he appreciated his loyalty to his beliefs and to his men.
#### The Liberation of Christopsis - Multiple Days
Currently, Count Dooku is present on Christopsis. Acting as a General and a frontline leader, he has been capturing Jedi, attacking key Republic FOBs, and using the campaign as an opportunity to train his new acolyte Quinlan Vos.
His presence often causes massive halts and changes of plans for the Republic, not just due to his own personal skill, but the sudden arrival of his personal forces often changes the predicted numbers and battlefield anaylsis done by Republic Commanders.
One of the more deadly incidents involving the Count in this campaign is when a miscommunication by the [Republic Starfighter Corps](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/battalions/page/starfighter-corps "Starfighter Corps") resulted in many Clones and Jedi being deployed to the Count’s headquarters in Tophen City. It was during this battle that the Count's new proficiency with Force Lightning was showcased.

Considered an unpredictable X-factor by Republic leadership, Pax has repeatedly shown the ability to shift the tide of war and influence the Clone Wars on a scale matched by few other [CIS leaders](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/characters-ndi/chapter/confederacy-of-independent-systems "Confederacy of Independent Systems"). Pax commands the feared **Reaper’s Fleet**, while his network of elite operatives, known as his **Shadows**, wage proxy wars and covert campaigns on his behalf across the galaxy. ## **Early Life** Born under the twin suns of [Tatooine](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/planets/page/tatooine "Tatooine"), Pax grew up in a harsh world. The Outer Rim offered him no safety, no stability, and no justice. Violence was everywhere, and when you are a human on Tatooine, nothing comes easy. Pax learned early that he was not the smartest or strongest on his planet, so he needed to become something far more dangerous - patient. Pax learned to survive through observation, restraint, and calculation. He studied crime lords, outlaws, bounty hunters, and smugglers. Not to learn from them, but to learn about them. Overtime, Pax knew how to manipulate and break his enemies through strategy, timing, and fear. Pax had achieved what brute force could not, control. ## **The Shadows** Pax did not rise alone. As his influence grew, he began gathering a select group of followers who believed in his methods. These men and women became known as the Shadows, a name whispered more often than spoken. These Shadows were not traditional soldiers, but tools for Pax to control. The Shadow's enforced Pax's rule through intimidation, information, and carefully placed violence. They obeyed and listened to their leader, making rivals vanish, and tightening Pax's grip over the people and territory around him. They do not follow Pax because he is the strongest, many of them are stronger. They do not follow Pax because he is the brightest, many of them are brighter. **They follow Pax because he knows where they are going.** What began as a criminal circle soon became the foundation of Pax's power. The Shadows were the first proof that his influence did not need to be seen, it was felt. ## Recruitment by Count Dooku Pax's growing influence on Tatooine was known to few. Pax kept his authority hidden, preferring to control the playing field from beyond it. At this stage in his life, Pax was not yet a criminal in the eyes of many, but a harsh and calculating survivor. His Shadows were feared, but they were disciplined, and Pax acted only when necessary. Everything he built was done for control, stability, and survival. One day, Pax learned that a group of newly created Clones had begun poking around Mos Eisley. Curious, he had them watched from a distance. What began as caution quickly became interest, as Pax observed the way they carried themselves. They were disciplined, dangerous, and foreign to the world. But with that discipline came arrogance. Upon seeing the disrespect and force with which they treated the locals, Pax recognized something familiar. Outsiders, who believed strength alone gave them the right to impose order on a planet that the Republic had long forgotten. Pax studied these Clones. He tracked their movements, tested their awareness, and learned how they operated. The Clones never realized they were being watched by the time Mos Eisley turned against them. Their mission failed not because of overwhelming force, but because Pax denied them information, mobility, and control. Studying the new Clones too, it did not take Count [Dooku](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/characters-ndi/page/count-dooku "Count Dooku") long to identify what had happen on this remote planet where the Clones saw some of their first real action. Dooku saw something far more valuable in the desert than a local leader. He saw a man who could challenge military precision without ever needing an army of his own. Pax had done more than resist Republic control, he turned it around and exposed the Clones biggest weakness, their dependence on order. From there, Pax was approached not as a criminal desert rat, but as a potential asset. Dooku offered him purpose beyond survival, and a chance for Pax to test his skill in the first open conflict the galaxy has seen in a lifetime. Pax accepted, seeing in the Separatist cause no loyalty, but opportunity to wield power on a scale he never could. ## [The Invasion of Rhen Varr](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/lore-story-arcs-USz/draft/299 "The Invasion of Rhen Varr") The Invasion of Rhen Varr marked the first time Dooku let Pax loose. Seeing the first major flaw in the Republic war efforts, Pax and his Shadow's moved two fleets under their control to Corfai and Rhen Varr. At this point, the Republic had stationed a large force on the CIS planet of Christophsis and was threatening to take control of a vital sector. With Dooku himself deploying to Christophsis, Pax needed to change the cards to his favor. By launching on the two nearby planets, Pax drove 2 Republic Venators and the 21st Legion away from Christophsis. The Republic, in another miss-step, retreated from Corfai to reinforce their fleet at Rhen Varr, conceding Pax his first planet of the war. The Republic stationed four Venators outside Rhen Varr, threatening Pax and his own fleet on the other side of the cold planet. Pax's newly available fleet of Corfai was ready to move, and Pax had a plan for them. During a holo-transmission with [Marshal Commander Sand](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/characters-ndi/page/cc-1870-sand "CC-1870 “Sand”"), Pax sent in his largest Providence class-destroyer loaded to the teeth with EMP bombs. This costly move would never have been attempted by any other Admiral, but for Pax, this move would win him not just one planet but several. The Providence exploded, detonating the EMP and crippling all 4 Republic Venators. From there, Pax sent in both of his fleets to finish the job. After destroying two Venators, Pax left two operational as bait for the Republic. Pax did not do this out of pity for the men on board. This move was done so Pax can win the next battle, not just this one. As it stands, High Admiral Pax and his Shadow's are still locked in on Rhen Varr, with the dominos falling each day. # Asajj Ventress ## Overview
Asajj Ventress, [Dooku’s](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/characters-ndi/page/count-dooku "Count Dooku") apprentice and favoured personal assassin, is a senior Separatist Commander and a skilled force-sensitive. Whether she is leading armies or fleets in her official title as “Supreme Leader”, or conducting highly sensitive missions with Separatist Intelligence to target the Republic’s most critical assets, her arrival on a battlefield always signifies much death and destruction for the Republic.
Being trained under a duelist as skilled as Count Dooku has its perks. Ventress carries two curved lightsabers and can hold her own against most Jedi. Interestingly, the lightsabers she carries belonged to Dooku’s last Padawan, who had turned to the darkside herself before being eliminated.
However, Ventress’ true prowess is as an assassin. Her ability to suddenly appear behind enemy lines, or on battlefields thought to be mostly secure, to then wreak havoc in the Republic’s backlines. Additionally, she is often seen being deployed in boarding parties in Space Battles, sometimes even taking a Drop Pod.
Unlike her master, Ventress has no issue with targeting just clones and fighting in a dishonorable way. While she has an interest in fighting and killing Jedi, whenever she is deployed, she lays a wake of bodies in her path.
## Early Life
Due to the fact that she has never been captured, has no history in any of the Republic’s institutions, and she works directly under Dooku rather than with the rest of the Separatist High Command, not much information is known about Ventress.

Ventress’ first appearance in the Clone Wars seems to be during the Separatist Invasion of Carida. In which she appeared without warning, cutting down squads of Clones and preventing Jedi from stopping the Droids from capturing key areas on the ground. For the Republic, the rest of the invasion, the Republic Commanders on the ground had to plan all operations around the fact that a psychotic force-sensitive killer was on the ground. It is also believed that the presence of Ventress prompted the Jedi Order to send almost all of their combat trained Jedi to Carida. Which, while strategically questionable, could still have been considered by the Order as a reasonable response as the last time a Sith appeared, a skilled Jedi Master was killed. However, what the Republic reinforcements and the Jedi did not expect was that Ventress would meet them in space. During the second space battle over Carida, Ventress boarded the Republic Venator “Invictus” and destroyed key reactors, forcing it to explode. During this boarding, she met and fought Jedi Master Mace Windu and managed to slice off his arm. Ventress would then leave on a stolen Republic fighter, leaving no trace to her next location.

Ventress’ next appearance would be during the Separatist Invasion of Corellia. Once again appearing with a warning, she led her Droid forces to the Jedi Temple on Corellia. However, facing multiple Jedi on their home turf, she was pushed back and forced to retreat. Ventress’ latest appearance in the Clone Wars would be during the Invasion of Christopsis. Asajj Ventress led a surprise attack on the Republic Fleet above Christopsis and boarded a Venator herself yet again. This time, however, the Jedi were prepared and quickly led a response to counter her. While she succeeded in taking out many Clones, she was pushed back and forced to retreat before she was able to take out the Venator.

She was known for her sharp mind and strategic kills which was a big impact on how the Senate was ran. She came from a wealthy and powerful house which was a well-known house on the plane Ashas where she was born and trained to have a sharp mind in politics. She raised through the ranks as a symbol of reform and strategic leadership; her legacy isn't just about what she did for the Republic but how she stopped believing in it. Seris turned her back on the Republic that she had help development throughout her time within the Senate. After her dear friend Conrad Lysos was executed by Republic Intelligence, her trust for the Republic shattered and that led her to turn her back to the Republic that she helped shape. She decided to align herself with the Confederacy of Independent Systems, where her skills in strategy were put to good use once more. ## Early Life Seris came from one of the most powerful and wealthiest families in the Republic. The Voss name meant a lot in politics and business, this gave Seris a lot of chances to excel and gain education from a young age. Seris was one of the few that didn't rely on her family's name, but she was just naturally good in politics, law, and government. She was one the type of person, if you needed intel on something she will get it for you no matter the cost. From a young age, she studied the structure of the Republic but not as a passive observer, but as someone who wanted to know how to make systems better and keep them under control. Seris saw problems that others thought were stable. She saw stagnation where they saw tradition. She didn't want to take overpower; she wanted to make it better. ## Rise within the Senate In 977 RSY, Seris Voss became the Senator of Ashas Ree, marking the start of a career that would quickly shift the political landscape. Her presence in the Senate was immediate and impactful, earning her a reputation for being composed, deliberate, and strategically savvy. Her talents led to her role as Chairwomen of the Judiciary Oversight Committee, where she undertook her most significant work. Seris played a crucial role in revamping the Republic's Judicial Branch. Among the Lysos family, Seris was particularly close to Conrad Lysos, the Speaker of the Senate. He wasn’t just a colleague—he was her mentor, her closest ally, and, in many ways, her moral compass. Their relationship thrived on mutual respect, trust, and a shared vision for the Republic’s potential. ## Departure from the Senate After years of dedicated service, Seris made the surprising choice to step away from the Senate. Having achieved what few could, she decided to leave the political arena, seeking peace and freedom beyond the burdens of governance. For the first time, she allowed herself to exist outside the system she had devoted her life to refining. She decided to spend time with her family, seeking peace and unity in the city of Carida. She left The Republic, and that day, the Republic she left didn't stay the same. ## Loss of Faith In the aftermath, Seris began to view the Republic differently. The system she had helped build and strengthen now appeared fragile, corrupt, and deeply flawed. The Republic that she once trusted in now crumbled into chaos. Seris no longer perceived a government worth saving, she saw a system that had decayed from within. The same building that she once worked within, blown to pieces, the place she spent most of her life just gone. Although she didn't know who or what did it, this will not stop her from finding out. ## Recruitment After many have seen Seris's brilliance, and her perspective changing, High Admiral Pax approached Seris with a task, a task to deliver a message that would change her life entirely. Admiral Pax did not want to recruit Seris as a solider, but as a strategist, spy and her former role a Senator. He wanted someone capable of shaping political systems with the same expertise that he applied on the battlefield. He recognized what Seris had become, not someone who is broken, but someone who is redirected into a better cause. He offered her a new purpose within the Confederacy of Independent Systems, where her understanding of the Republic’s inner workings could be used against it. As Seris takes upon the role of Senator, she will attempt to aid the CIS from within. She will become a voice for their concerns and play a key role manipulating the ones that call themselves "Senators". ### **Overview** **General Karnus Ra**, also known as **"The Cyclops,"** is a rash, impatient, and vulgar General serving the Separatist Alliance. He is considered a renowed ground and asymmetric warfare tactician across the Outer Rim... but regarded as a barely adequate Naval Commander and an even worse politician amongst his peers. Karnus is most known to utilize organic soldiers, volunteers, and partisans in the battlefield- preferring to utilize them as lieutenants or irregulars over Droids consistently. Karnus' specializes in insurgent warfare, and he currently serves as a General under [**High Admiral Pax**](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/characters-ndi/page/high-admiral-pax) and his **Reaper's Fleet**. Karnus commands a small task force of Munificent-class Frigates within the fleet. ### **Early Life** Karnus Ra was born on a forgotten, uncharted world deep within Wild Space- far beyond the reach of the Galactic Republic’s established hyperspace routes and governance. The planet itself, unnamed in most navigational records, was known as Lysatra. Lysatra's surface was dominated by dense, untamed jungle ecosystems and scarce resources. Karnus was raised among a small, community of drifters, settlers, and nomads... all individuals who had either fled the Republic’s authority or been left behind by it entirely. His early adult years is where he would be exposure to all types of off-world influences. Smugglers, mercenaries, and traders would occasionally pass through the system, bringing with them information of the wider galaxy. ### **Karnus' Insurgency** Little information is publicly known at this time. ### **Service to High Admiral Pax** Little information is publicly known at this time. # Captain Jado Felis ## Overview Operating under the Separatists as a Captain, Jado Felis serves as a covert intelligence asset who specializes in infiltration, counterintelligence, and black-market logistics. He is currently tasked with undermining the Galactic Republic through indirect warfare, disrupting supply chains, infiltrating Republic controlled worlds, and extracting sensitive intelligence from both military and political targets. His operations frequently take place in contested systems and urban underworlds, where he leverages criminal networks, slicers and informants to maintain an constant flow of information to the Separatist cause. ## Early Life Born on the planet of Tatooine, at the far edges of Mos Entha, Jado grew up in a poor family that struggled to make ends meet, especially with the Hutt clan operating in the town and enforcing their heavy taxes. Scavenging scraps from any crashed freighters, doing small jobs for smugglers and dodging tax collectors became the norm for Jado. The constant flow of gangsters, bounty hunters, and shady merchants from many sectors passing through Mos Entha taught that Jado needed to survive in this harsh galaxy. He learned how to bargain, lie, pick locks, and how to disappear completely even when trouble came for him. By his late teens, Jado had befriended a Lieutenant of a smaller lesser known criminal gang whose name was “Gar Rendas”. Gar had seen great potential in Jado after he successfully stole a crate of volatile Rhydonium, and surprised that Jado didn’t blow up an entire block he decided to take Jado under his wing. Jado, now under Gar’s strict and rough mentorship, taught him the arts of stealth, infiltration, espionage and leadership. He learned how to blend in crowds, read people’s intentions, and extract information. Unfortunately during a botched spice run, Gar Rendas was betrayed and executed by his own gang. Jado barely escaped with his life. This experience changed Jado’s view on everything, he realized that no matter how skilled, or great he became, working under someone else’s banner would eventually get him killed. So he decided to leave Tatooine and work on his own as a freelance infiltrator, taking dangerous jobs across the Outer Rim, taking jobs such as slicing databases, eliminating rival syndicates or slipping past security. Later on, Jado took on a contract, where he was to deliver recovered republic equipment to the CIS. Operating deep within the lower levels of Coruscant, Jado had organized a network of desperate civilians and scavengers, and had them recover small quantities of Republic weaponry to avoid detection from Republic logistics. Jado handled all the smuggling routes and shifted drop points to stay clear of any Republic patrols. When the Coruscant Guard started closing in on the operation, Jado orchestrated a clean getaway, wiping any slicer logs and disappearing before CG could arrive. Despite several arrests on this matter, the Republic never uncovered Jado's involvement. The recovered equipment also ultimately made it to the Separatists hands, strengthening their army. Impressed by Jado’s skills and his disgust to Republic corruption, which had reminded him of the Hutts back home, the CIS offered him commission. Jado decided to accept this offer but not because of loyalty and his agreement to the Separatist cause, but because it provided Jado the resources and protection from old enemies, and to eliminate anyone who wanted to prey on the weak. Showcasing his expertise in stealth and espionage, Jado became invaluable to the Separatists. He quickly rose through the ranks of CIS ultimately becoming a Captain in the CIS Army. ## Abilities Jado is deeply paranoid and quick to anger, shaped by experiencing the betrayal of his mentor "Gar Rendas" gang that executed him. And under the belief that no matter how skilled, or great he became, working under someone else’s banner would eventually get him killed. He trusts no one and constantly expects to be betrayed or abandoned. # Captain Kerluv Fes ## Overview Captain Kerluv Fes is a Separatist naval officer currently serving as Commanding officer of the Providence Class vessel the "Odveta" along with a Separatist naval strike force group operating in the Corellia System. He is known for his vicious, unforgiving, and direct attitude for Naval Warfare along with the infamous events of the Juiris - 5 Massacre. ## Early Life Orthoranum "Kerluv" Fes hails from the picturesque core world of Chandrila, one of the founding worlds of the Galactic Republic. He was born into the minor noble family of House Fes, an ancient rival to the Mothma clan which had entered obscurity in the past few centuries. His father, an officer in the Republic Judicial Fleet, placed him in a prestigious naval academy on Corellia shortly before his assassination at the hands of pirates in the Outer Rim. There, he excelled at naval tactics and became first in his class due to his robust knowledge of fleet on fleet warfare along with brutal sabotage of his classmates. Hated by much of his fellow cadets, he established his own clique of a few loyal students at the academy who would sabotage rivals and report to him on the every doings of the student body. As a result of his excellent grades and proficient skill, he was immediately commissioned with the Captaincy of a light judicial craft upon graduation rather than made a staff or training officer. ## Military Career In the years leading up the clone wars, Lieutenant Commander Fes assisted in Outer Rim Security and diplomatic missions, becoming renowned as a welcome exception to the rule in a Judicial Fleet plagued by corruption. Shortly before the start of the Clone wars, as his vessel was docked at a small Outer Rim Outpost, he was contacted by a regretful member of the pirate band which had killed his father. Rather than an attempted heist gone wrong on a valuable Judicial Fleet Cargo Transport, his father's death was in reality a paid assassination by a rival Chandrilan house! Evidence was provided to him of an entire conspiracy approved by members of Chandrilan aristocracy and the Judicial Fleet command to kill his father and later Orthoranum to seize their valuable ancient estates, finally extinguishing the despised House Fes. Given a list of names of fellow conspirators in the Judicial Fleet, Captain Fes invited sixteen of them of them (including Judicial Fleet Vice Admiral Borsa) to Outpost Juiris - 5 for a meeting regarding the expansion of Outer Rim piracy. The outpost was filled with over two hundred requisitioned Thermal Detonators and completely destroyed upon the group's arrival. With a paper trail of evidence on him for the murder of Judicial Fleet officers, Captain Fes jettisoned disloyal members of his crew out of an airlock and began hit and run attacks on isolated Republic bases in the Outer Rim. Later contacted by CIS agents, he was offered an opportunity to meet with a member of the burgeoning Separatist movement in regards to joining it. He accepted the meeting and was forwarded the details, before ultimately murdering the remaining pirates for their participation in the murder of his father. Entering a meeting with an undescriptive Neimoidian gentlemen, he was offered a capital ship in the newly formed Separatist Navy and the opportunity to bring death to those who had wronged him. He accepted and was shortly after transferred to High Admiral Pax's fleet. Prior to the operation on Rhen, Captain Fes and his new vessel, the Providence class "Odveta" (Vengeance) were ordered by High Admiral Pax to inspect Separatist Naval defenses on occupied Corellia. As he arrives at the world, Captain Fes finds the Shipyard of the Galaxy under siege by the Republic and swears to enact total vengeance on the Republic slime who dishonored his family and killed his father. His greatest goal is to burn the mountains of Chandrila to smoldering husks and to turn the grass of the Mothma clan's villas to ash. For he is the Ravager, the "Kerluv" of all those who stand in the way of vengeance ## Abilities Captain Fes has an aggressive and opportunistic strategy in battle. He is ruthless to his enemies and ***never*** accepts surrender. Prior to a battle, Fes analyzes all possible angles of attack along with the chances the enemy has at victory. He always attempts to engineer situations which lead to the Republic oftentimes sabotaging themselves. However, Captain Fes takes great pride in his own superiority over Republic tacticians which paired with his rapid mental decline has resulted in an inability to analyze battles once they have started. Upon the beginning of a battle, Fes will be reduced to the exact strategy he had previously developed with the exception of rapid offensive action. Relying on brute force, the old Captain has very much been transformed from the genius tactical prodigy to a brutal and merciless commander that sees casualties and long term prospects as no obstacle.. # Capo Orion Krim ## Overview **Orion Krim** is a notorious **Pyke Syndicate Capo**, and the leader, recruiter, and trainer of the Pyke Syndicate’s feared **Sentinels**. The flexibility and skill of his Sentinels makes them ideal enforcers for Separatist leaders to deploy when their droid forces are found lacking, the Sentinels alongside their leader have been placed on an expensive retainer by the Confederacy. Unlike other Separatist Commanders, Orion’s background doesn’t consist of planetary military service and naval academies. But rather a decade spent managing the spice trade and conducting gang wars against the many criminal factions in the galaxy has resulted in Orion becoming a rather opportunistic and ruthless figure, who now has the backing of one the Galaxy’s largest powers. Due to his connections from a life spent as a major player in the **Galactic Underworld**, it is likely that any engagement with this Separatist Commander will include hired criminals and mercenaries alongside the Droids that have been placed under him. Resulting in a unique tactical challenge for the Republic Commanders who are forced to engage him. ## Early Life Orion, like most within the Pyke Syndicate, was born and raised on **Oba Diah**, the Pyke Homeworld. As is the case with almost all of the Pyke species, he was brought into their syndicate from a young age. Orion in particular seemed to have impressed someone high enough in the organisation to recommend him to join the Pyke’s Sentinels, who at the time were used as enforcers for the Pyke’s operations in **Kessel**. Throughout his service in the Sentinels he climbed their ranks, eventually becoming their commander. Recognising that the highly trained enforcers were being underused he petitioned the leaders of the Syndicate to expand the scope of the Sentinels. This change would see them changed into a more mercenary-like group, handling jobs for the Syndicate and any other client that would pay for their service. The Reputation of the Orion and the Sentinel’s had grown to the point where the **Confederacy** was interested in purchasing their services. Rumors from those who are known to frequent Tatooine's underworld is that High Admiral Pax played a crucial role in the recruitment of Orion. Coming from Tatootine himself, he was able to reach out to Orion through some mutual contacts. For Orion the promise of great wealth and access to the Separatist's resources was more than enough to convince him to agree to lend his services to the Confederacy. Acting as escorts to Separatist Leaders and being deployed alongside droid forces to fight off against Republic attacks. They have started to gain a reputation amongst the Republic Military for the unpredictability and flexibility they allow the Separatist forces to have when deployed with large amounts of Droids. While most of the Sentinel's are found using the same military grade blasters - supplied by the Confederacy - owing to their criminal background, they can be found using a variety of equipment. One such example is a Pyke Sentinel who was seen using a lightsaber pike during the Republic invasion of Christophsis.
