# CC-6116 "Kix > "When it comes to the health of the men, including you (Captain Rex), I outrank everyone." > > - Director Kix ## Overview CC-6116 is a clone trooper in the Republic Star Fleet's Medical Operations team, raised on Kamino and trained at the [Cadet Academy](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/factions-vZw/page/republic-clone-academy) alongside his close companions, [CC-7567 "Rex"](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/characters-ndi/page/cc-7567-rex) and [CO-5597 "Jesse"](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/characters-ndi/page/co-5597-jesse). From an early stage in his development, Kix distinguished himself not through combat prowess alone, but through a strong inclination toward preservation of life. While many of his brothers were shaped primarily for frontline combat, Kix gravitated toward medical training, developing a passion for battlefield medicine and emergency care. ## Military Career After joining the 501st, Kix quickly earned recognition for his precision, composure, and ability to make clear, effective decisions under pressure. His skills and mindset made him an irreplaceable asset in high-casualty environments, and he steadily rose through the ranks. Over time, he helped establish the foundation for future generations of medics within the battalion, ultimately becoming the 501st’s Chief Medic. His leadership qualities and proven reliability made him an ideal candidate for the newly formed Warrant Officer Corps, where he was promoted to Senior Warrant Officer. In this role, Kix served alongside his brothers with unwavering loyalty, balancing his duties as both a medical authority and a trusted officer within the 501st. Though his duties have since taken him beyond the ranks of the 501st, Kix continues to wear the signature blue markings with pride as a lasting tribute to the brothers he fought, bled, and served beside for most of his life.
