# RCO-8791 "Jaws" ## Overview Jaws, previously CT-8791, was born as a second-generation clone to [Kamino](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/planets/page/kamino), and he proved his worth in the [104th Armored Battalion](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/battalions/page/104th-armored-battalion), and got a shot at joining the [Republic Commandos](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/battalions/page/republic-commandos). He rose through the ranks to Captain of Ion Squad, where he fights day after day for the [Galactic Republic](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/factions-vZw/page/galactic-republic). ## Military Career Jaws' career in regular infantry would be short. Shortly after joining the 104th, Jaws had the opportunity to attend selections for the prestigious Republic Commandos. Jaws would pass the grueling selections. Becoming a trainee for the Republic commandos. Jaws would quickly adapt to his new surroundings. Excelling in the many training’s required for new commandos. A week after joining the commandos. Jaws and his fellow commandos would be deployed to carida, in the final battle to retake the planet. It was a rough and deadly battle, but Jaws and his fellow commandos came up on top with zero casualties. After his deployment, Jaws would become a full fledged commando. Soon after Jaws would participate in an assault on a pirate stronghold on naboo with the 41st. Jaws would be placed in Ion company, led by RCO-5424 “Rai”. ## Notable Engagements #### [The Invasion of Rhen Varr](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/lore-story-arcs-USz/page/the-invasion-of-rhen-varr) The squad would be deployed onto Rhen with the [21st Nova Corps](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/battalions/page/21st-nova-corps), in search of survivors of a destroyed venator. During a covert operation on the planet, the squad lead Rai, would fall into a hole. The squad was forced to leave him after attempting to rescue Rai. Leading to his capture. This however would lead them straight to the CIS base on Rhen, leading to the rescue of Rai and Marshal commander Sand. The squad would escape with the commander and returned back to Kamino. Earning the Republic cross. Jaws would lead a squad of commandos in pushing back the CIS from the first republic FOB. His first real test after being promoted to 2nd Lieutenant. Jaws would continue to serve in the retake of Leesis city for several days. Jaws would receive devastating news that his Squad lead “Rai”, was killed in action on Rhen. Enduring weeks of brutal combat in the capital city. Ultimately taking the city. Jaws would earn the Stellar service medal, along with the Army command merit. The squad would earn a well-deserved rest. before heading to Ryloth to assist omega and hope squad in the fight to retake the planet. They went all across the steppe and through Chaleydonia and the favelas of the Twi'lek people. They went through trial and tribulation to help all across the planet, notably the [327th Star Corps](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/battalions/page/327th-star-corps), [104th Armored Battalion](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/battalions/page/104th-armored-battalion), and the [91st Mobile Reconnaissance Corps](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/battalions/page/91st-mobile-reconnaissance-corps). They helped fight of Sith threats such as **Ventress,** who took many clones lives on the planet. After extensive grueling combat, Ryloth was freed from CIS grip, but occasional pirate bands and rouge forces arise to challenge the Republic forces. [![image.png](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/uploads/images/gallery/2026-09/scaled-1680-/QFkimage.png)](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/uploads/images/gallery/2026-09/QFkimage.png) #### Operation **Trojan Horse** Ion squad along with [Obi Wan Kenobi](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/characters-ndi/page/obi-wan-kenobi), Delta squad, Omega squad, Bad Batch, and Gamma squad would take on a daring mission to retake the VSD Steadfast, after it was captured by [Separatist Military](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/factions-vZw/page/separatist-military) naval forces. Jaws, and his fellow commandos would be sent on an almost certain suicide mission. Jaws along with his fellow technicians would be getting the venators engines and hyperdrive working. The squad would push through hundreds of droids to complete their objective. After a tense bout of fighting, the commandos would succeed in their mission and the venator would be launched into hyperspace to the planet [Alderaan](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/planets/page/alderaan). With droid patrols still present in the main hanger bay, the commandos had to hold out until reinforcements from the [442nd Siege Battalion](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/battalions/page/442nd-siege-battalion) and [5th Fleet Security](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/battalions/page/5th-fleet-security) to arrive and assist with clearing the rest of the venator. For their heroics, Jaws and his fellow commandos would all be awarded the Chancellors medal.
