# Shaak Ti ## Overview Born on the world of Shili, Shaak Ti was discovered by the [The Jedi Order](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/factions-vZw/chapter/the-jedi-order) at a young age and raised within the Temple tradition. Through years of study and service she eventually became a master, known for her measured judgement and calm presence. During the War she frequently balanced her Jedi duties with oversight of [Republic Clone Academy](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/factions-vZw/page/republic-clone-academy) and the development of young clones into warriors fit to serve the [Galactic Republic](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/factions-vZw/page/galactic-republic). ## Military Career Shaak Ti believes the Force is best understood through patience and reflection rather than constant action. She uses this ideology both in the classroom as well as the battlefield. While fully capable as a warrior, she considers a Jedi's purpose to be guidance, protection, and service rather than conquest. Capable of multiple different saber styles, including but not limited to Makashi, Ataru ,Jarkai, Niman, Vapaad. She mastered these styles to face any force on the battlefield, but though the ancient teachings of the order, she learned strategic qualities like patience, persistence, and discipline. As well as the droid invasion, multiple groups of pirates and Sith threats like **Asajj Ventress.** They tried for peace on the planet, to spare the civilian lives, but the offer was refused by the CIS Command. As the war raged on, she lost many Jedi and clone allies throughout the gruesome fighting. She fought in both major battles as well as tactical operations, where she fought and assisted high value targets like **Sith apprentice Asajj Ventress, and the Rescue of [CC-3636 "Wolffe"](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/characters-ndi/page/cc-3636-wolffe)** After difficult combat and constant push pull fighting, the planet was free from CIS forces.
