</div></div>## About

The Galactic Republic, often simply called "the Republic," is the central galactic government in 981 RSY, a sprawling coalition of star systems united under a democratic banner. Headquartered on the ecumenopolis of Coruscant, the Republic is governed by the Galactic Senate and protected by the [Jedi Order](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/factions-vZw/page/jedi-order), a group of Force-sensitive peacekeepers. At 981 RSY, the Republic stands as a beacon of unity and order, though it faces mounting challenges from political corruption, economic disparity, and the rising threat of the Separatist coalition.

The Republic’s history stretches back millennia, encompassing the ancient era known as the Old Republic, a golden age of exploration and peace, followed by periods of strife, collapse, and reformation. Infused with ancient myths—such as the enigmatic Celestials and prophecies of balance.

## Pre-Republic Era (Before 25,000 BTR)

Before the Republic’s founding, the galaxy was fragmented between isolated civilizations, primitive hyperspace routes, and warring factions. This era was shaped by the Celestials, a near-mythical species credited with engineering the galaxy’s core hyperspace lanes and even the artificial alignment of the Corellian system. Their sudden disappearance left behind only cryptic ruins and legends, whispered as divine acts in ancient texts.

During this time, the Force emerged as a unifying thread. On the Deep Core planet Tython, the Je’daii, early Force-sensitive mystics, sought harmony between the light (Ashla) and dark (Bogan) sides of the Force. Ancient tablets from Tython speak of a prophecy:

> ***“One shall rise from the ether, born of star and shadow, to mend the broken circle.***

This vision would later influence the Jedi and Sith alike.

## Founding of the Old Republic (Circa 25,000 BTR)

Around 25,000 BTR, the Core Worlds—Coruscant, Alderaan, and Corellia—forged an alliance to foster trade, security, and peace. This coalition birthed the Galactic Republic, formalized by the Galactic Constitution. Initially a loose confederation, the Republic relied on the newly formed Jedi Order, successors to the Je’daii, to mediate disputes and defend its ideals.

This era, retroactively dubbed the Old Republic, marked a golden age. Hyperspace exploration flourished, connecting distant systems, while Coruscant’s skyline rose with monumental temples and Senate halls. The Republic’s early leaders, including noble houses like the Drayce family, claimed descent from Celestial-touched ancestors, weaving myth into their legitimacy.

## The Golden Age (25,000 BTR - 5,000 BTR)

For twenty millennia, the Old Republic thrived. The Jedi Order established academies across the galaxy, and the Senate codified laws to govern an ever-expanding union. Yet, this prosperity drew enemies. The Great Hyperspace War (circa 20,000 BTR) pitted the Republic against the Sith Empire, a dark-side regime from the Outer Rim.

In the Republic’s infancy, around 25,000 BTR (Before the Treaty of Ruusan), there was no standing army. Instead, member worlds like Coruscant, Alderaan, and Corellia relied on their own planetary defense forces. These militias united only in times of crisis, such as the Great Hyperspace War (circa 20,000 BTR) against the Sith Empire. The lack of coordination nearly led to disaster, prompting Supreme Imperator Pultimo to declare:

> *"Our strength lies in unity, not in the scattered might of a thousand worlds."*

The Jedi’s victory cemented their role as guardians, but the Sith’s shadow lingered.

Ancient relics from this era, such as Celestial star maps and Je’daii holocrons, became objects of reverence, said to hold secrets of lost hyperspace routes and the Force’s origins.

## The Sith Wars and Decline (5,000 BTR - 1,000 BTR)

The Old Republic era, spanning 5,000 BTR to 1,000 BTR, was the Republic army’s golden age. Fueled by titanic struggles like the Mandalorian Wars (circa 4,000 BTR) and the Jedi Civil War, it hit its stride as a galactic juggernaut. A Supreme Imperator oversaw the army, syncing it with the Republic Navy for devastating efficiency. Tools like powered battle armor and mass shadow generators gave soldiers an edge in firepower and strategy. Legends like Revan shone bright, turning the tide at the Battle of Malachor V.

At its height, the army boasted millions of troops, bolstered by Jedi Knights as commanders and a fleet of over 10,000 capital ships. Training hubs like the Carida Academy churned out elite warriors. Grand Admiral Thrawnis Korr later mused:

> *The Old Republic’s military was a marvel, a machine of war that could crush empires.*

The Republic’s vast bureaucracy bred corruption, and its unity frayed. The Mandalorian Wars (circa 4,000 BTR) tested its resilience, with Jedi hero Revan defeating the Mandalorians only to fall to the dark side, sparking the Jedi Civil War. The Sith Triumvirate that followed nearly eradicated the Jedi, plunging the Republic into chaos.

The New Sith Wars (2,000 BTR - 1,000 BTR), a millennium of relentless conflict, brought the Old Republic to its knees. Sith warlords ravaged worlds, and the Jedi dwindled. Ancient texts from this era lament a galaxy “torn asunder, its light swallowed by shadow,” reflecting the despair of a crumbling civilization. Losses like the Battle of Mizra (1,466 BTR)—where the Republic suffered the devastating **loss of over 700,000 troops and 1,500 capital ships in a cunning Sith ambush**—severely sapped its military strength. This significant defeat weakened the Republic’s once-mighty army, which had numbered in the hundreds of millions at its peak, and marked a turning point in the New Sith Wars. By the time of the Battle of Ruusan (1,000 BTR), centuries of such attrition had reduced the army to a shadow of its former glory, leading to its inevitable collapse. The subsequent Ruusan Reformation dismantled the remnants of this diminished force, **abolishing the martial title of Supreme Imperator and ushering in the more diplomatic role of Supreme Chancellor** to redefine the Republic’s identity.

## The Ruusan Reformation (0 RSY)

The turning point came with the Battle of Ruusan (1,000 BTR), where the Jedi and Republic forces vanquished the Sith Brotherhood, believing the dark side extinguished. This victory ushered in the Ruusan Reformation, a sweeping restructuring of the Republic. The Senate was centralized, the Jedi adopted stricter codes, and the calendar reset to 0 RSY, marking a symbolic rebirth.

The reformed Galactic Republic emerged from the ashes of the Old Republic, its leaders vowing to prevent another dark age. The term “Old Republic” came to signify the pre-Reformation era, a nostalgic echo of lost glory.

## The Dawn of Recovery (0 RSY - 300 RSY)

The early centuries were a time of healing. Planets scarred by war rebuilt under the Republic’s banner, and the Jedi emerged as beacons of hope. One landmark moment was the Treaty of Alderaan (circa 100 RSY). Alderaan’s noble houses, locked in a bitter feud over succession, teetered on the brink of civil war. Jedi Master Elara Voss led a delegation to mediate, spending months forging a peace that endures to this day. Her words linger in history:

> "Through patience and understanding, we have shown that even the deepest divides can be bridged."

The treaty not only saved Alderaan but became a model for Jedi diplomacy galaxy-wide.

Exploration soon followed. The Hyperspace Expansion Initiative (circa 300 RSY) opened new frontiers, with Jedi explorers charting hyperspace lanes to forgotten worlds. Their efforts linked distant systems, sparking trade and unity. Republic Chancellor Tarsus Valorum hailed the achievement, proclaiming,

The Jedi’s role in this venture showcased their versatility—guardians not just of peace, but of progress.

## The Golden Years (300 RSY - 700 RSY)

As the Republic prospered, its economy thrived, fueled by bustling trade routes and powerful corporations. The Trade Federation Dispute (circa 600 RSY) tested the Jedi’s skill when the Federation imposed crippling tariffs on Mid Rim worlds, sparking protests and threats of rebellion. Jedi Master Korrin Thra stepped in, negotiating a compromise that eased tensions and preserved economic stability.

## Shadows on the Horizon (700 RSY - 981 RSY)

The later years brought subtle signs of strain. The Outer Rim Incursions (circa 900 RSY) marked a turning point. Pirate fleets and rogue warlords plagued the Outer Rim, raiding trade lanes and defying Republic authority. Jedi Knight Aric Joran led missions to quell the chaos, but the unrest persisted in pockets, exposing the limits of Jedi influence. His stark warning, "The Outer Rim is a tinderbox; one spark could ignite a fire we cannot control," proved prophetic, as these incidents hinted at the rise of the Separatist coalition still brewing in 981 RSY.

Meanwhile, corporate power grew. The Trade Federation’s droid armies, officially for “protection,” raised eyebrows in the Senate. Rumors of ancient Celestial artifacts—mysterious relics unearthed on remote worlds—added intrigue, with some whispering of lost technologies that could shift the balance of power. The Jedi, ever cautious, debated how to respond to these emerging threats while holding fast to their code.

## The Age in 981 RSY

Today, as the Age of Renewal nears its millennial mark, the Republic stands as a testament to resilience. The Jedi’s efforts have woven a tapestry of peace across centuries, from the Treaty of Alderaan to the hyperspace frontiers. Yet, the galaxy is not still. The Outer Rim simmers, corporate ambition swells, and the Separatists cast a shadow over the Republic’s unity.

## Republic Military

The Republic Military in 981 RSY is a decentralized and largely non-standing force, shaped by the reforms of the Ruusan Reformation nearly a millennium ago. Unlike the robust fleets and armies of the Old Republic, the modern Galactic Republic relies on planetary defense forces and the Jedi Order for protection. However, with rising threats from the Separatist coalition and the Trade Federation’s droid armies, the lack of a unified military has become a hot topic in the Senate. Calls for militarization are growing louder, threatening to upend the Republic’s pacifist traditions.

**Historical Context**

Back in the days of the Old Republic, the Republic had a serious military—think massive fleets and armies ready to take on the Sith Empire or Mandalorian clans. That all changed after the New Sith Wars (2,000 BTR - 1,000 BTR), a brutal conflict that left the galaxy in ruins. The Ruusan Reformation (0 RSY) followed, scrapping the standing army and decentralizing military power. Planetary governments took over their own defense, and the Jedi stepped up as peacekeepers.

Supreme Chancellor Tarsus Valorum summed it up during the Reformation:

> *The age of vast armies and endless wars is over. Let each world guard its own, and let the Jedi safeguard the peace between them.*

For centuries, this worked pretty well, keeping the peace without a big military machine. But now, with the galaxy getting messier, people are starting to wonder if it’s enough.

Current Structure (981 RSY)

**The Republic’s defense in 981 RSY:**

- Planetary Defense Forces (PDFs): Every planet has its own military. Core Worlds like Coruscant and Alderaan have slick navies with shiny ships, while Outer Rim worlds often scrape by with whatever they can muster.
- Republic Judicial Forces: A small central fleet that patrols hyperspace lanes, fights pirates, and backs up Senate orders. It’s not built for all-out war.
- The Jedi Order: The galaxy’s go-to peacekeepers. They handle crises, mediate fights, and step in when things get hairy. Problem is, there aren’t enough of them, and they’re more about talking than fighting.

This setup keeps the Republic lean, avoiding the cost and chaos of a big army. But it’s got gaps—big ones. Jedi Master Elara Voss put it bluntly in 972 RSY:

> *The Jedi are guardians, not soldiers. We can’t be everywhere at once, nor should we be asked to fight every battle.*

## The Militarization Debate

The Separatist coalition and the Trade Federation’s droid armies have everyone on edge, sparking a huge debate in the Senate. [Senator Varkis Drayce](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/characters-ndi/page/varkis-drayce) from Coruscant is leading the charge for a unified military, arguing it’s the only way to stay strong. In 980 RSY, he thundered:

> *The Republic’s strength lies in unity, not fragmentation. We must forge a military worthy of our legacy, or we will crumble before those who seek to divide us.*

The Jedi are split too. Jedi Knight Aric Joran wants a stronger defense, but Master Korrin Thra warns:

> *The Force guides us to seek balance, not domination. A military unchecked could become a weapon of oppression.*

## Creation of the Clone Army

[![image.png](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/uploads/images/gallery/2026-03/scaled-1680-/qbPimage.png)](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/uploads/images/gallery/2026-03/qbPimage.png)

In 970 RSY, a decade before his famed "War Is Brewing" speech, [Varkis Drayce](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/characters-ndi/page/varkis-drayce) secretly collaborated with Jedi Master Dooku of Serenno **to create a Clone Army, a move shrouded in mystery at the time.** The project began when the Kaminoans, a reclusive species skilled in cloning, approached the Republic with an offer: a genetically engineered security force to bolster its defenses amid rising Outer Rim unrest. Drayce, then a rising senator, saw this as a chance to forge a military capable of enforcing his vision of order. Dooku, the only Jedi he respected for his noble heritage and pragmatic ideals, joined him, disillusioned with the Jedi Council’s restraint.

The operation was concealed from the Senate and Jedi Order, masked as a modest expansion of the Republic Judicial Forces. Drayce and Dooku oversaw the Kaminoans’ work, commissioning an initial batch of clone battalions—among them the 104th Battalion, dubbed the "Wolf Pack." These early clones, bred from a yet-unnamed template, were deployed under the guise of "stress testing" to refine their specialties:

- 104th Battalion (Wolf Pack): Under Plo Koon and CC-3636 "Wolffe", they mastered search-and-rescue, excelling in operations like the Ryndellia Incident (978 RSY), extracting a stranded convoy from pirate clutches.

</aside>## The Grand Army of the Republic

Formally established in 985 RSY, the Grand Army of the Republic serves as the Ground branch of the Republic Military. Although the concept of the Republic Military at all had been taboo within the halls of the Senate, the advent of hostilities with the Trade Federation had created wide-spread support for the passage of the Chancellors own Armed Forces Act. Since the formation of the Grand Army, their ranks have consisted near-entirely of Clones, with a handful of Humans to serve as support staff.

## History

The Grand Army of the Republic was founded in approximately 975 RSY, after Obi Wan Kenobi's discovery of the cloning process on Kamino. Led by the mysterious Sifo Dyas, the clones were shown to have been a perfect human form bred for fighting. After the first battle on Geonosis made the Clone Army evident, few were opposed to an army that could help them stop the CIS.

## Structure

The Army serves as a branch under the Republic Military, which itself is managed by the Republic Strategic Command, which serves as the General Staff for the Military, formed by the highest ranks of both the Army and Navy, the Director of Intelligence and additional support staff. Command of the Army falls to the Marshal Commander

</div>### Overview

**The Republic Clone Academy** stands as the eminent training institution responsible for molding raw Clone Cadets into the competent and lethal Clone Troopers that form the backbone of the Grand Army of the Republic. The well-being and effectiveness of the entire Republic Military hinge on the expertise of the veteran Instructors at the Academy and the young Cadets they nurture into formidable Troopers.

### Origins

The origins of the Cadet Academy are deeply intertwined with the inception of the Clone Army. Commissioned in secret by the Office of the Supreme Chancellor, the Kaminoans meticulously designed and perfected the genetic template for what would evolve into the Clone Troopers. However, recognizing the necessity for proper training, the Ruling Council of Kamino sought out skilled warriors to instill the foundational skills in the emerging clones.

![kamino2.png](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/uploads/images/gallery/2026-02/kamino2.png)

### The First Clone Troopers

The initial batch of Clone Troopers, a small-scale experimental run of 30 clones, underwent genetic enhancements designed to vastly improve general performance. These clones, devoid of certain inhibitors present in subsequent generations, were trained by experienced veterans. Surpassing expectations, the 30 clones became a proficient fighting force during adolescence, despite their unconventional attributes. Notably, a subset of these clones demonstrated exceptional leadership and initiative, prompting their selection for further training on Coruscant.

### The Foundation of the Grand Army

The majority of the Clone Troopers were assigned as the first Null Advanced Recon Commandos (ARC troopers), while Clone Officers were allocated to various roles within the Republic. Those remaining on Kamino formed the Republic Clone Academy (RCA). As the Academy, they continued to play a pivotal role in training subsequent generations of Clone Troopers. This marked the formal beginning of the Cadet Academy's enduring mission — to ensure the Republic maintains a professional and proficient fighting force. The legacy of the Cadet Academy lives on, as it continues to be the crucible where future generations of Clone Troopers are forged into the guardians of the Republic.

### Academy Structure

The Republic Clone Academy is the heart of the Republic’s military strength. It exists for one purpose: to shape clones into capable, reliable, and professional service members ready to fight and lead across every domain of the Republic’s armed forces. Through relentless training, strict standards, and a shared sense of duty, the Academy turns raw recruits into soldiers, pilots, officers, and commanders the Republic can depend on.

The Academy is led by **Head Academist Praxis Vordana**, whose philosophy centers on discipline, adaptability, and clear thinking under pressure. Vordana believes that a clone’s strength is not only measured by skill at arms, but by judgment, loyalty, and the ability to act decisively when it matters most. Supporting this vision is **Chief of Operations Arminius Wolfram**, who oversees coordination between the academies, maintains operational readiness, and ensures training standards remain consistent across all branches.

Together, they uphold a simple truth: the quality of the Republic’s forces begins at the Academy.

The Clone Academy is made up of several specialized institutions, each focused on a different aspect of military service. While each academy has its own purpose, they function as a single, unified system—preparing clones to fight, lead, and support one another in war.

#### Cadet Academy

The Cadet Academy is the foundation of all clone training and the starting point for every clone’s career. It is here that discipline is first instilled, bodies are hardened, and minds are shaped for military service. Recruits are trained in physical conditioning, weapons handling, fieldcraft, and the core values of the Republic.

A poorly trained cadet does not just fail themselves—they become a danger to their brothers and to the mission. For that reason, standards at the Cadet Academy are uncompromising. Every clone is expected to meet the same level of competence, resilience, and reliability.

Led by:

Chief Instructor **Rein Varo**

#### Officer Academy

The Officer Academy is the thinking mind of the Republic Military. Its mission is to transform experienced clones into leaders capable of commanding troops, ships, and entire campaigns. Officers are taught that while soldiers fight battles, leaders decide how those battles are won—or lost.

Training focuses on leadership under stress, tactical and strategic planning, responsibility for subordinates, and the weight of command. A single poor decision from an officer can cost lives or cripple an operation. Because of this, the Officer Academy demands clarity, confidence, and accountability from every candidate.

Led by:

Chief Instructor **Triun**

#### Flight Academy

The Flight Academy represents the Republic’s sharpest edge. It trains elite clone pilots to master both atmospheric and space combat, where reaction time, precision, and awareness mean the difference between success and destruction.

Pilots are taught advanced maneuvers, multi-role operations, and coordination with fleet and ground forces. The Academy emphasizes that a pilot’s responsibility extends beyond their cockpit—poor flying can cost lives on the ground or doom an entire operation.

Only those with exceptional skill and discipline graduate, ensuring the Republic’s fighters remain unmatched in the sky and the void.

# Republic's Most Wanted List

> *To all citizens of the Republic, Republic Intelligence asks you to keep your eye out for these criminals, insurgents, and anti-republic terrorists who seek to undermine your Republic, your democracy, and your rights.*
>
> *They bring crime, terror, and war to your doorsteps. They are willing to sacrifice your lives and livelihoods for their own agendas. They know nothing about the common good, nor do they care.*
>
> *Therefore, I ask you, not just as a service to the Republic, but as a service to your neighbors, to your friends, to your family, to keep an eye out for these individuals and to report them the moment you see them or have any information about them.*

### <cite>Overview</cite>

<div id="bkmrk-the-republic-most-wa" style="text-align: justify;">The Republic's Most Wanted List, or as most people in the Republic call it, the Red List, is a database of individuals who are wanted by the [Republic](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/factions-vZw/page/galactic-republic "Galactic Republic") for a variety of criminal activities. The list is exhaustive and contains lookout notices for basic underworld mob bosses, arrest warrants for traitorous Senators, and even most-wanted notices for [Separatist Leaders](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/characters-ndi/chapter/confederacy-of-independent-systems "Confederacy of Independent Systems").

</div><div id="bkmrk-" style="text-align: justify;"></div><div id="bkmrk--1" style="text-align: justify;"></div><div id="bkmrk-one-of-the-key-reaso" style="text-align: justify;">One of the key reasons why the most wanted list is so popular is its monetary reward system for those who give information that leads to the capture or death of those on the list, or for those who are able to capture and hand in those on the list.

</div><div id="bkmrk--2" style="text-align: justify;"></div><div id="bkmrk--3" style="text-align: justify;"></div><div id="bkmrk-it-should-be-noted-t" style="text-align: justify;">It should be noted that not all of the Republic is in support of the Most Wanted list. Some argue that the list in modern times has turned into a tool of political suppression and is simply another weapon of the increasingly militaristic Republic to crack down on those who don’t support the Core Worlds agenda. However, not many are willing to argue this stance in public, as it is quite hard to explain why you would oppose an initiative that is working on cutting down Crime and helping the war effort to your friends and community.

</div><div id="bkmrk--4" style="text-align: justify;"></div><div id="bkmrk-the-list-is-maintain" style="text-align: justify;">The list is maintained and updated by [Republic Intelligence's](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/battalions/page/republic-intelligence "Republic Intelligence") Office of Intelligence and Analysis. </div>### Rewards and Incentives

<div id="bkmrk-the-republic-most-wa-1" style="text-align: justify;">The Republic's Most Wanted List works in a tier system, as while all criminals should be punished, not all crime is of the same level. The current iteration of the list consists of 4 levels; those who are in the upper levels are considered some of the most dangerous criminals, enemy combatants, and terrorists in the Galaxy.</div><div id="bkmrk--5"></div>##### <span style="color: rgb(53, 152, 219);">Level 0 - Unimportant</span>

<div id="bkmrk-this-level-is-unique" style="text-align: justify;">This level is unique, as it does not contain individuals, but rather groups, institutions, and organisations that express visible and clear anti-republic sentiments. They are not priority targets and should not be approached with lethal force.

Any citizen who manages to detain and transfer the leaders of these groups to the Republic authorities will be given a payment of **20K Credits**.

<div id="bkmrk-individuals-in-this-" style="text-align: justify;">Individuals in this level are engaged in serious organised crime, anti-republic behavior, or are supporters of the Confederacy of Independent Systems whose arrest can result in political or intelligence value to the Republic.

<div style="text-align: center;">
</div></div>### About

The Jedi Order is a revered monastic organization of Force-sensitive individuals dedicated to upholding peace, justice, and balance across the galaxy. Headquartered on Coruscant, the Jedi serve as the guardians of the [Galactic Republic](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/factions-vZw/page/galactic-republic), wielding their mastery of the Force to mediate disputes, protect the innocent, and preserve the Republic’s ideals. As of 981 RSY, the Jedi face a galaxy teetering on the edge of transformation, with the emergence of the Separatist coalition and the expanding influence of the Trade Federation challenging their mission like never before.

The Jedi’s legacy spans millennia, tracing back to the ancient Je’daii of Tython and evolving into a disciplined Order committed to the light side of the Force. Their history is a tapestry of triumphs, trials, and an ongoing quest to balance their peacekeeping duties with the allure of power.

### Origins and Philosophy

The Jedi trace their lineage to Tython, a Force-rich world where the Je’daii Order emerged before 25,000 BTR (Before Treaty of Ruusan). These mystics revered the Force’s dual nature—Ashla (light) and Bogan (dark)—living in balance atop great Tho Yor pyramids. The Force Wars, sparked by a rift over the dark side’s dangers, shattered this harmony. Survivors who rejected Bogan’s chaos founded the Jedi Order, vowing to wield the Force for good.

The Jedi Code, penned by Master Odan-Urr after studying ancient holocrons, became their bedrock:

> *There is no emotion, there is peace. There is no ignorance, there is knowledge. There is no passion, there is serenity. There is no chaos, there is harmony. There is no death, there is the Force.*

Beyond the Code, the Jedi embrace the Living Force, a belief in its immediate presence in all life, and the Unifying Force, a cosmic perspective on destiny. This duality shapes the Jedi's meditation and foresight, setting them apart from secular powers.

### Structure and Traditions

- Younglings: Identified via midi-chlorian tests, they train in clans like the Katarn Clan, mastering basic Force techniques and lightsaber forms.

- Initiate: Jedi Initiates were Force-sensitive children who have completed their initial Youngling Trials and completed their Crystal Gathering.

- Padawans: Chosen by a mentor, they wear a braid symbolizing apprenticeship, learning through trials like the Gathering on Ilum to claim a kyber crystal.

- Jedi Knights: Proven through the Trials of Knighthood, they serve as the Order’s backbone, wielding self-crafted lightsabers.
- Jedi Guardians: Warriors excelling in combat, favoring forms like Ataru.
- Jedi Consulars: Scholars and diplomats, adept in Niman and Force lore.
- Jedi Sentinels: Blending combat and stealth, Sentinels serve as scouts, spies, and urban operatives, often wielding rare yellow lightsabers.

- Jedi Masters: Wise and skilled, they guide the Order’s future, often joining the Jedi Council.

- Jedi Minor Councils: Members of the Council of Reassignment, Council of Reconciliation, and Council of First Knowledge oversaw all minor day-to-day duties and organized tasks assigned by the Jedi High Council.
- Archwarden of the Order: Head of the Council of Reconciliation and leader of the Temple Guards.
- Keeper of the Balance: Head of the Council of First Knowledge and leader of the Librarian's Assembly.
- Caretaker of First Knowledge: Head of the Council of Reassignment and leader of the Jedi Assault Team.
- Jedi High Council - The Jedi High Council was the governing body of the Jedi Order. Its composition consisted of seven Jedi Masters who were tasked with the responsibility of guiding the Order, largely by convening as a council to discuss matters of importance to the Jedi.

- Master of the Order: Second to the Grand Master, this Master oversees daily operations and discipline. In 981 RSY, Mace Windu holds this role, his stern resolve a counterpoint to Yoda’s mysticism.
- Grand Master: Yoda, a centuries-old sage, leads with unparalleled insight.

### The Jedi High Council

Housed in the highest pillar on top of the Coruscant Jedi Temple, the 7-member Jedi High Council governs the Jedi Order. Masters like Yoda, the Grand Master of the Order, Mace Windu, the creator of Vaapad, Obi-Wan Kenobi, the master of Soresu, and Plo Koon, a sage of empathy, balance tradition with adaptability. Other masters included the wise Ki-Adi Mundi and aquatic Kit Fisto.

### Lightsabers and Rituals

Lightsabers, forged with kyber crystals from Ilum, are a Jedi’s soul made manifest. The Order teaches six primary forms of lightsaber combat, each with distinct strengths and philosophies:

**Form I: Shii-Cho – The Way of the Sarlacc**

The foundational form, Shii-Cho is taught to all Younglings as the default style. Simple yet versatile, it emphasizes broad, sweeping strikes and disarming techniques, ideal for facing multiple foes or blaster fire. Master Kit Fisto, a Nautolan adept, showcased its fluidity in battle. Yoda instructs:

> *Shii-Cho is the root, wild, untamed, but strong.*

**Form II: Makashi – The Way of the Ysalamiri**

A refined, elegant form, Makashi excels in lightsaber duels with precise, controlled movements. Favored by Jedi Investigators like Taryn Soll for its finesse, it counters single opponents with grace. Count Dooku, a Master in 981 RSY, wields Makashi with unmatched skill, saying:

> *Precision is power; elegance, its proof.*

**Form III: Soresu – The Way of the Mynock**

The ultimate defensive form, Soresu creates an impenetrable shield against blasters and blades. Jedi Sentinels and Obi-Wan Kenobi, a rising Knight, rely on its tight, efficient parries to outlast foes. Kenobi reflects:

> *Soresu turns survival into victory.*

**Form IV: Ataru – The Way of the Hawk-Bat**

An aggressive, acrobatic form, Ataru leverages flips and leaps for dynamic offense. Guardians like Qui-Gon Jinn use it to overwhelm enemies, though its energy demands caution. Yoda, despite his size, masters Ataru, noting:

> *Swift you must be, but reckless you must not.*

**Form V: Djem So, Shien – The Way of the Krayt Dragon**

A powerful, assertive form, Djem So blends defense with crushing counterattacks. Guardians favor its strength, and Mace Windu adapts it into his Vaapad variant, channeling aggression safely. Practicing Vapaad is only at the discretion of Master Windu. Much like Diem So, Shien is well-adapted to countering against blaster fire and guarding the wielder whilst also not sacrificing the ability to counterattack. Windu warns:

> *Djem So demands control, lose it, and you lose yourself.*

**Form VI: Niman – The Way of the Rancor**

A balanced, versatile form, Niman integrates Force abilities with moderate bladework. Consulars like Korrin Thra use it for diplomacy-turned-defense, though it lacks specialization. Master Jocasta Nu praised:

> *Niman is the bridge, mind and blade as one.*

The Gathering on Ilum sees **Padawans claim Kyber Crystals,** while the Jedi Funeral—a pyre burning as the Force reclaims the fallen—affirms their transcendence. Sentinels and Investigators often adapt these rites, favoring practicality over ceremony.

### Historical Milestones

**The Sith Wars**

- The Hundred-Year Darkness (7,000 BTR): Jedi exiles became Sith; the Order prevailed at Takodana.
- The Great Sith War (4,000 BTR): Exar Kun’s betrayal led to the Sacking of Ossus, a grim lesson.
- The Jedi Civil War (3,960 BTR): Revan’s redemption rebuilt the Order from ruin.
- Ruusan Reformation (1,000 BTR): The Seventh Battle of Ruusan ended the Sith, reshaping the Jedi.

**The Jedi in the Age of Renewal (0 RSY - 981 RSY)**

After Ruusan, the Jedi embraced peace over war. Master Satele Shan’s lineage bolstered their libraries on Ossus.

- The Shroud of Dantooine (300 RSY): Sentinel Lirra Tey thwarted a dark cult.
- The Alenya Trask Sting (720 RSY): Investigator Joren Kade exposed Senator Alenya Trask of treachery.
- The Kessel Veil (910 RSY): Master Dooku, with Sentinel aid, unraveled a spice-dark side nexus.

**The Clone Wars (981 RSY - Ongoing)**

<div id="bkmrk-the-personal-journal" style="text-align: justify;">The Personal Journal of Jedi Guardian London D. is a somewhat famous text written and updated by General London about his early life, training in the order, and many accomplishments and responsibilities as a Jedi and a General for the 5th Fleet Security Clone Battalion.
Many younglings in the Order read the journals, not just looking for inspiration and words of guidance from their celebrated author, but also for insight into how the Clone Wars are progressing beyond what the Republic Holonet tells them.</div>### **The Journal**

</aside>## About

The Confederacy of Independent Systems, commonly referred to as the CIS or the Separatists, is a coalition of star systems, corporations, and political factions that have broken away from the Galactic Republic. Formed out of growing dissatisfaction with corruption, inefficiency, and centralization within the Republic, the CIS presents itself as an alternative system built on independence and self-determination.

Headquartered on Geonosis, the Confederacy operates through a parliamentary structure, though its true power lies in the alliance between political leadership and major corporate entities. These organizations provide not only economic support, but also the industrial and technological backbone required to sustain the Confederacy’s war effort.

Unlike the Republic, the CIS does not rely on organic armies as its primary force. Instead, it fields vast numbers of battle droids, allowing for scalable, efficient, and expendable military operations across multiple fronts simultaneously.

## Origins

The rise of the CIS is rooted in long-standing fractures within the Galactic Republic. Outer Rim and Mid Rim systems increasingly viewed the Senate as disconnected from their needs, dominated by Core World interests and corporate influence.

Economic exploitation, lack of representation, and delayed responses to regional crises fueled resentment. Over time, these tensions evolved into organized political movements advocating for autonomy.

Count Dooku emerged as the central figure of this movement, unifying various dissatisfied systems and corporate powers under a single banner. His leadership transformed scattered dissent into a structured and coordinated secession.

## Political Structure

The CIS operates under a confederate system where member worlds retain a degree of autonomy while contributing to a shared political and military framework.

The Separatist Parliament serves as the official governing body, representing the interests of its member systems. However, corporate alliances play a decisive role in shaping policy, often influencing decisions through economic leverage and resource control.

This dual structure creates a balance between ideological independence and practical dependence on industrial power.

## Military Doctrine

The Confederacy’s military is defined by scale, efficiency, and adaptability. Its reliance on droid armies allows for continuous deployment without the logistical limitations associated with organic forces.

Key elements of CIS military doctrine include:

- **Mass Deployment:** Large-scale droid forces overwhelm enemy positions through numbers
- **Attrition Warfare:** Sustained pressure designed to exhaust Republic forces over time
- **Experimental Warfare:** Integration of advanced technologies, environmental manipulation, and unconventional tactics
- **Logistical Superiority:** Strong industrial backing ensures constant production and reinforcement

Command structures vary, ranging from traditional military leaders to specialized figures such as engineers, tacticians, and scientific directors who treat warfare as a system to be optimized rather than simply fought.

## Internal Dynamics

Despite its unified appearance, the CIS is not without internal tension. Political leaders, corporate executives, and military commanders often operate with different priorities.

While some view the Confederacy as a genuine movement for independence, others see it as an opportunity to expand influence, test new technologies, or reshape galactic power structures.

This creates a system that is both flexible and unstable, capable of rapid innovation but vulnerable to internal conflict and competing agendas.

## The CIS Currently

At present, the Confederacy stands as the primary opposition to the Galactic Republic. Its expansion across the Outer and Mid Rim has shifted the balance of power, forcing the Republic into a defensive and reactive position.
Through a combination of political pressure, military action, and strategic destabilization, the CIS continues to challenge the Republic’s authority.

To its supporters, it represents freedom from a failing system. To its enemies, it is a fragmented coalition held together by ambition, power, and war.

</aside>## About

Initially three of the biggest middle-men within the Inner Rim, the I.R.C started out as a successful business. On a dark night in 950 RSY, a ship landed on the planet of coruscant. Among the buildings of coruscant, a meeting took place. Ya-zir La, one of coruscant’s most successful business men, spoke to his two allies; Midar Alrich and Val Horne. An agreement struck between the three, commencing the biggest trade of the year with two exporters.

Upon the execution of the trade, the three middle-men received the packages from both companies. The packages included a considerable amount of, after further investigation, illegal heavy weaponry. Upon their depart, the three were never to be seen again. They had effectively stolen some of the most detrimental weapons any normal person could get in their hands.

The confederacy is suspected to consist of highly-skilled mercenaries from all around the galaxy, particularly those who come from lavish families.. Judging by their violent attacks, they are no small organization.

## History

#### The Attack on Ryloth

At midnight on 955 RSY, on the planet Ryloth, a ship failing to respond to communications landed. Shortly after being approached by the inhabitants of Ryloth, five men opened fire, effectively killing the inhabitants. An unknown force was oppressing the planet. The five ransacked the planet, stealing any weaponry or resources they could find. After their attack, they left in the place of their landing a message.

*“Long Live the Inner Rim Confederacy.”*

#### The Attack on Taris

In the same year, also at midnight, a starship later identified as a stolen freighter landed on the planet of Taris. Similarly, it did not respond to communications. After landing, they did not wait for the approaching. A large group of twenty individuals rushed out of the freighter, invading the planet and stealing scrap and weapons, opening fire on all they could see. A massacre by all means. Being met with minimal resistance, they loaded their loot and left, leaving the same message.

*After the previous events, no account of the confederacy was ever seen again.*

</div>### **Overview**

The **People's Secessionist Army of The Outer Rim** is a vast collective of different species that report directly under [General Karnus Ra](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/characters-ndi/page/commander-karnus-ra). Unofficially known as **Karnus' Insurgents**, most records refer to them simply as Karnus' Insurgents. The Insurgent's origin and area of strongest influence is Taris- where the organization was founded. Since it's debut however, the Insurgents have been seen all throughout the Outer Rim. As of 982 RSY, Karnus' Insurgents has publically aligned with the Confederacy of Independent Systems; gaining the resources associated with the entity. The PSA now serves as a sub-group within the greater [Separatist Military](https://wiki.unlimitedprojectstudio.com/books/factions-vZw/page/separatist-military).

The People's Secessionist Army are known to utilize sabotage, assassinations, and terror attacks as their staple of fighting style, prefering assymetric warfare over conventional frontlines.

### **The First Attack**

The Insurgents are known for their first attack on Taris in 972 RSY- detonating a Planetary Militia's Armory. The Insurgents claimed responsibility for the attack- stating the use of force against the citizens of the Outer Rim will met with the use of force to repel the authority of the Core Worlds. This claim was broadcast all over the Holonet- along with Karnus' manifesto- proclaiming the People's Secessionist Army of The Outer Rim.

### **The Christophsis Campaign**

Placed under the Command of Count Dooku for the early portions of the Campaign, General Karnus and his Insurgents mostly did sapper and scout work to slow down the oncoming Clone Army; laying mines, scouting Republic positions, and sabotaging Republic power sources. Later on in the Campaign, during the third Battle of Leesis City- Karnus took his Insurgents to partake in assymetric warfare in the Planetary Headquarts for the Republic offensive- Tophen City.

In Tophen, Karnus deployed his men via mined out tunnels, orbital drop pods, and amongst refugee convoys seeking off-world transport. From there, these Insurgents reported Republic positions, laid down detonater mines along reinforcement and supply routes, and captured and executed a series a Republic Clone Trooper sentries.

After the fall of Leesis City- Karnus retreated off-world to Rhen Var to briefly assist High Admiral Pax in dealing with the captured Marshal Commander and Jedi Master Ima Gun-Di. During a Republic incursion to the CIS-held Bravo Base, General Karnus would retreat to his task force in Orbit and accompany the rest of the Reaper's Fleet blockade Numidia Prime.

### **The Numidia Prime Campaign**

No known information exists- however it is hinted that the Secessionist Army is involved in operations.

Their strength relies entirely on numbers, as a single B1 unit is typically extremely easy to destroy; however, in larger numbers, they are a force to be reckoned with.

</div><div id="bkmrk-they-are-able-to-pro" style="text-align: justify;">They are able to produce some independent thought and are able to act without being directed by command, and in some cases, take the lead of other B1 units if they are promoted in the heat of battle. However, their thinking is very limited, and B1s acting under their own commands are often very easy to outsmart.

<div id="bkmrk--23" style="text-align: justify;"></div><div id="bkmrk-the-b1-series-sniper" style="text-align: justify;">The B1-Series sniper droids, referred to as "B1 Snipers," are a common variation of the B1 Series; they are almost always seen with red colouring on their standard B1 body. These specialist B1 units are often deployed in small squads and position themselves in various hard to access locations across battlefields. From there, they target clones with impressive accuracy and are often the bane of many Republic commanders' plans.

</div><div id="bkmrk--24" style="text-align: justify;"></div><div id="bkmrk--25" style="text-align: justify;"></div><div id="bkmrk-like-the-basic-b1-se" style="text-align: justify;">Like the basic B1-Series droids, the B1 snipers are also capable of independent thought. However, they are able to make smarter decisions due to the increased processing power needed to be accurate snipers. Often, B1 Snipers are used in a secondary role in command of B1 units under a B1 Commander.

They are always seen with a green colouring on their standard B1 body. While most B1s are designed with the strength in numbers doctrine, the B1 Machine Gunners are the real embodiment of this. Due to their high rate of fire, a squad of B1 Machine Gunners can easily hold a segment of a battlefield on their own.

</div><div id="bkmrk--31" style="text-align: justify;"></div><div id="bkmrk--32" style="text-align: justify;"></div><div id="bkmrk-the-b1-series-machin-1" style="text-align: justify;">The B1-Series machine gunner droids have the same intelligence and independence modules as the standard B1-Series battle droids.

Using wrist blasters and being tougher than an average B1, Super Battle Droids often require careful tactics or multiple squads to handle.

</div><div id="bkmrk--38" style="text-align: justify;"></div><div id="bkmrk--39" style="text-align: justify;"></div><div id="bkmrk-while-super-battle-d" style="text-align: justify;">While Super Battle Droids are a much deadlier threat than a standard B1 Droid, they are given extremely limited thinking and independence. They are often considered one of the most deadly infantry units used by the Droid Army. Unlike a standard B2 Series Super Battle Droid, a B2-Juggernaut is armored with much heavier and more durable armor. This allows them to survive multiple blaster shots before being destroyed.

Able to transform their shape into a ball shape, which is able to accelerate quickly, they are able to easily flank and chase down enemies. Additionally, they are also fitted with a personal deflector shield, making them very difficult to take down without multiple clones or heavy weaponry.

Able to target clones from massive distances and with the ability to traverse across harsh terrain with no difficulty, the presence of a Spider Droid often changes almost all Republic plans. These droids are also able to target and destroy Republic Starfighters, often resulting in the Republic having to dedicate a large portion of its resources to destroy one.

One downside to the use of these Tactical Droids is the necessity to store critical information inside a T-1’s head, which, if captured and analysed, will often result in tactics, plans, or other secrets of the Droid Army’s operations in a region being accessed.

</aside>#### About

The Children of the Wailing Shade were once a feared cult in the Outer Rim. They now move within the Keshtamor Asteroid Field, far from Republic control. The field is filled with old wrecks and drifting stone. Some say the dark still speaks there. The Children use this to hide, to hunt, and to spread their faith. They are known for their silence and for how they never leave survivors.

#### History

From 701 to 841 RSY, the Children were a growing threat across the Malachor sector. They preyed on traders and pilgrims who passed near Keshtamor. Many ships vanished without trace. The few that returned spoke of voices calling through the hull and lights that moved like living things. The Republic marked the sector as cursed and stopped all travel through it.

#### Battle of the Bleeding Sky

In **701 RSY**, a Republic convoy left Naboo carrying Jedi relics and holocrons. Unknown to the crew, one of the Jedi aboard was a sleeper agent for the Children. Through him, the cult learned about Republic patrol routes and fleet movements.

At **11:14 standard hours**, the convoy’s scanners began showing false readings. Dead Jedi. Burning temples. Sith writing that flickered across displays. A transmitter hidden in the Keshtamor Field had activated and was sending signals that broke the pilots’ minds.

By **11:32**, the fleet was lost. The flagship *Singing Lady* sent a final message before vanishing.

&gt; “The voice in the wind.”

Moments later, cruisers struck each other mid-flight. Witnesses on nearby moons said the sky turned red.

&gt; “ᛋᚻᚢᛞᛟ · ᚹᛖ · ᚲᚾᛟᚹ · ᛏᚻᛖ · ᛋᚻᚨᛞᛖ · ᚲᛟᛗᛖᛋ”

#### The Purge of Keshtar

By **835 RSY**, the Children had built a stronghold inside a large asteroid called the **Hollow Verge**. Reports said the cult’s leaders, known as the **Choir of Ash**, were preparing a chant meant to cut Jedi off from the Force.

A strike team led by Jedi Master **Talor Rovas** entered the field before dawn. Eighteen gunships moved through the rocks. The Verge shifted inside like it was alive. The Children had set up grief resonators that made intruders see their worst memories. Some turned on their own.

The fight lasted a full day. Rovas reached the inner chamber where the **Circle of Five** were gathered. He killed three of them before the structure broke apart and fell into the void. Two escaped and fled deeper into uncharted space.

Now, centuries later, the Children are quiet again. Ships that drift too close to Keshtamor still report hearing whispers. Some say the cult never left. Others believe they are waiting for something to call them back.

</aside>## About

The Crimson Serpents were once Tatooine's most feared criminal organization, They were ruthless, heavily armed and deeply integrated into the planet’s underworld system.

While the Hutts once ruled over Tatooine’s spice trade and monopolized it, The Crimson Serpents specialized in spice production, weapons trafficking and slave trafficking. They had a strict hierarchy:

**The Grand Viper (Leader)**

- Makes final decisions.
- Identity hidden from most of the organization. Only the inner circle knows.
- Enforces control through fear and secret spy networks that go up to the galactic senate.

**The Inner Circle (The Five Serpents)**

- The five highest ranking commanders. Each control a branch of the cartel that spread around Tatooine.
- Each has absolute authority, but must report the viper.
- They oversee smuggling/trade, assassinations, enforcers, corruption, politics, logistics and money laundering.

**Serpents Lords**

- They act as 'captains' of a district or an area.
- They report to the inner-circle but act as warlords in their respective territories.
- Each of them has a squadron with members working under them.

**The Strikers (Regular Cartel Members)**

- Soldiers with little to no power. They only obey their boss.
- They act as enforcers and assassins, their goal is to rise through the ranks and clinch the top seat.

**The Vassals (allies)**

- They are not the regulars as these haven’t been inducted into the cartel, these may include senators, corrupt law enforcement, and so on.
- They work for mutual benefit, often playing both sides of the coin.

## History

During the year 951 to 977 RYS, the crimson serpents cemented their power and stronghold over the spice trade over the outer rim, leaving behind a bloody massacre of crime and political corruption.

#### The Blood Moon Accord Massacre

In 955 RYS, The Crimson Serpents were still a newly crime organization not as powerful as they were later on. Back then, the trade spice belonged to two cartels; The Black Sun Organization and The Pykes. Unable to challenge these cartels, The Crimson Serpents struck a deal with The Black Sun organization and The Pykes — The Blood Moon Accords, named after the moon of Orvax V, a lawless planet ruled by warlords and slave traffickers. The deal brought three of the biggest cartel members in the outer rim:

- Lorad Zindar, Pyke cartel second in command.

- Tavos Reshkan, Black sun cartel leader.

- ? ? ?, Crimson Serpent Leader

The deal was simple, split the outer rim’s spice trade into three so that no one group could assert full dominance. Everyone came unarmed trusting the sanctity of the deal.

But the serpents were not interested in sharing power.

At 16:44 standard hours, the meeting’s hall room doors were sealed, trapping every attendee inside. Within seconds, electricity was cut. The entire room was plunged into darkness. Neurotoxin gas flooded the room, killing every Pyke and Black Sun member inside within minutes.

By dawn’s break the crimson serpent had taken control of 50% of the spice trade in the outer rim. A message was sent to every planet in the rim

*“The Serpent does not strike in anger nor in fear. It hides in shadows, patient, ntil the moment arrives. By then, it is too too late. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will never see us coming. We wait.”*

#### Embers over Coruscant

*“The fire lasted for 5 days and 4 nights. It wasn’t an attack, it was a statement."*

By 963 RYS, The Crimson Serpents had become a galactic nuisance, with businesses in spice, weapons, slave trafficking and much more. With expansion came unwanted eyes. They had drawn the attention of the Senate Bureau of Intelligence( SBI).

The SBI worked with corporations and launched a massive crackdown against the crimson serpents, seizing serpent-run operations in the lower levels of coruscant. In a huge influx, members were arrested. Their supply lines were cut. For the first time ever, the serpents bled.

They responded coldly.

At exactly 18:00 standard hours, five freighters loaded with explosive and flammable gas detonated at Coruscant's docking sector 14, an area used for the shipments of trade and arrival of goods from other planets, as well as military weapons from outer space. The explosion set the entire sector to fire, crippled trade routes and killed over 400 people. To maintain the explosion, it took the republic 5 days and 4 nights.

The SBI labelled it an act of terrorism, The senate passed a bill to declare The Crimson Serpents as an enemy of the republic.

Following the attack, corporations withdrew their subsidiaries in the outer rim and brought them closer to home leading to the outer rim becoming more and more filled with lawless men. Corporations began secretly allying themselves with serpents, paying them bribes in fear of another catastrophe.

*"Defy the hand of judgment, and be cast into the lake of fire."*

#### The Black Purge

In the year 971 RSY, the galactic republic would come to see what atrocities the crimson serpents would be known for forever.

Drifter’s haven–an infamous trade hub in the wild space where traders, smugglers and bounty hunters could come without any fear of syndicate wars.

The massacre began in the darkness of night. Unbeknownst to the haven’s inhabitant, Serpent informants had been operating within the station for months. Then, when the time was right, the Serpents struck.

At 03:00 standard hours, the lights of the lamp post flickered. An explosion set off through the docking bays of the hub, trapping hundreds inside the station. Panic spread like wildfire, but before anyone could do anything, shadowy figures emerged from the darkness executing those who tried escaping.

By dawn the station became a graveyard, markets stripped bare, houses dead silent, bodies hanging from the top. From that day forward, the story of the drifter’s haven became a ghost story. Few dared to venture forth. Those who did only saw skeletons floating around the planets.

*“And so it was written; the wicked shall wander the wastelands, seeking refuge when none will be given. They will be tormented by fire, the abyss will know their name no more, only the faithful shall endure.”*

The group still remains currently at large on the planet of Tatooine.

</aside>## About

&gt; *“They came in the dark—red blades igniting like bleeding stars. Whatever they are… they’re not Jedi. And they’re not supposed to exist.”*

&gt; — Unidentified Mandalorian survivor, Bosthirn skirmish log

The Lords of Ruin are a near-mythical force said to haunt the edges of known space. Reports speak of masked warriors clad in tattered black and crimson armor, wielding red lightsabers unlike any modern design—archaic, brutal, and crackling with instability. Despite numerous attempts by Republic historians and Jedi archivists, no official records confirm the group's origin, hierarchy, or intent. Most dismiss these accounts as superstition or the desperate fabrications of war-traumatized soldiers.

## Known History

Little is known of the Lords of Ruin, and what does surface comes from whispered accounts, wreckage left behind, or encrypted transmissions intercepted by Outer Rim outposts.

##### The Varnak Vigil (980 RSY)

A Jedi investigation into dark Force disturbances ended in tragedy. Two Knights were lost. The surviving Padawan was found wandering the jungle, muttering:

&gt; *“I felt them before I saw them. Cold… but burning. Like the Force was turning against me. They moved like shadows. But I swear... I saw one smile beneath the mask.”*

He then choked on his own blood and collapsed. There was a stone with the engraving left by the attackers, in a language never seen before that said the following:

&gt;𐍊 𐌳𐎣 𐎗 — 𐐘𐑉𐌈 *𐌳𐎣 𐐦𐐿* 𐌶𐎣 𐐿 𐑉𐎴

This has yet to be decrypted by any Jedi.

##### Bosthirn Skirmish (978 RSY)

A trade convoy traveling through the Vanquor Sector vanished. Republic scouts found only scorched bulkheads and mutilated husks of droids and guards. One survivor—later found delirious—claimed to witness **"figures made of ash and shadow, wielding blood-red fire."** His hololog has since been sealed by the Republic Security Bureau.

##### The Screaming Night (935 RSY)

A mining colony on the moon of Luthar II went completely dark. When private security arrived, they found the entire population dead—no alarms, no signs of struggle. Autopsies revealed internal burns caused by energy weapons.

</aside>### Background

**The Children of The Wailing Shade**, former slaves turned into threats to the republic. The Order was founded around the year 200 RSY, grew out from a mining colony established by the republic, the people of the colony were converted to slaves to forcibly meet the quotas. The planet's environment scarred by the constant mining became a place where no hope remained. Around the year 212 RSY, a semitic planetary event destroyed the colony leaving the slaves turned survivors. The Survivors bounded together and heard what they called the voice of **The Wailing Shade**. Through this voice they interpreted the mandate to bring stability to the galaxy, to destroy the oppressors who harm it. The Childrens grew in the shadows over the centuries and accumulated members who aligned with their theology.

The Children’s first major victory came in 841 RSY, when they successfully sabotaged a vessel carrying republic senators; senator **Aris Vellara** and senator **Grol Darnok** The Republic soldiers fought and laid down their lives to protect the senators. The childrens captured the vessel heading for alderaan and re-directed it to their home world valadoran in an unknown region of the galaxy.

After 3 years of missing the republic vessel carrying the senators re appeared, sighted near geonosis. On board all that remains were the skeletons of the senators that were headed on a republic mission. Haunted by this event, the chancellor of senate, **Oron Malvoc** ordered the republic forces to hunt down this fanatic religion "We will no longer tolerate this insolence, we will protect the freedom of all people, the republic shall never surrender!!!" the chancellor declared at the senate after the founding of the senators.

An operation began, ordered by the chancellor code named **Operation Shattered Shade**. The Navy along with the Army launched a war against this fanatic religion. After 8 years of searching and many misdirections, the republic had a breakthrough in their search for the children of the wailing shade. The Republic had traced and founded the children's homeplanet, valadoran. With a full force of 50 thousand combined soldiers of navy and army. The Republic fought against the childrens. After 5 days of intense brutality the war ended when the leader of the children of the wailing shade died in combat, with the leader dead the order fell and the republic won. The order went extinct.

Even after many decades passed by whispers lunger around the republic, the torture senator aris vellara and senator grol darnok went through still haunt many current senators, some don't dare leave their homeworld.
