 Overview 

 Located within the Ghost Nebula lies Umbara, a dark world covered in overgrown jungles and predatory flora and fauna alike. Otherwise known as the "Shadow World" due to its lack of sunlight, Umbara is shrouded in eternal darkness and remains cutoff from the rest of the galaxy. 

 From orbit, Umbara appears as a dark purplish world devoid of any life. The surface, however, is filled with dense jungles that last infinitely. Plantlife has adapted to the darkness and remains liminescent, providing some light in the otherwise shadowed world. Cities are typically high advanced, towering high and acting as a beacon across the world for civilizations to thrive. 

 Society and Culture 

 Umbaran society is defined by status, negotiation, and survival. With the civil populous learning that only those who abuse the system may thrive, many have learned overtime that they must do whatever they can to rise to the top of their societal heirarchy and use others as stepping stools to do so. 

 Government 

 The Umbarans follow a caste system, allowing for a culture of bribery, blackmail, and other soft negotiation tactics to rise individuals into the Rootai level of society and into the Umbaran ruling council. These individuals are considered royalty and generally untouchable, ruling over the entirety of Umbara and its populous.
