The Twin Brothers Arc is a captivating arc around brothers wreaking havoc in Kumogakure. It begins with two brothers born within the slums of the Hidden Cloud: Kabuki and Haruki, with Kabuki being the eldest. Their parents abandoned them for what they believed to be the greater good. At the time, Ay, A was in power as the first Raikage, and the brothers admired him for his strength and integrity. They attended all of his inaugural speeches, believing in the democratic ideals of their country. However, as time passed, Kabuki and Haruki started to realize that the Raikage and the higher-status individuals within the Hidden Cloud truly did not care for the slums. Close friends and family were dying each day because the government refused to allocate funds to rebuild their village.
Fed up with the injustice, Kabuki and Haruki left the Hidden Cloud and began to train for their return. When they saw Raikage Ay, A leaving the Hidden Cloud, they ambushed him. After a long standoff, they took his head and hid his body and the evidence.
Amidst the chaos, a significant turning point occurs when a past Raikage, known as Patho A steps forward. Through dedicated meditation and unwavering determination, Patho A to lock in and stop getting beat up. This newfound ability grants him a powerful edge in the ongoing conflict against the twin brothers. Days passed in the shinobi world, and the Hidden Cloud was in chaos. “Where is the Raikage?” they wondered, unaware that he had been murdered out of anger. In the chaos, a new Kage stepped up named “Patho A.” Kabuki and Haruki, unaware of this, began to execute their plan of stealing the most treasured and sacred items in Cloud history. The day came when they abruptly entered the sacred chambers of the room. The Raikage was instantly notified about this, and he took his most elite shinobi to the area.
The Raikage also alerted the Hidden Stone Village. Together, the Raikage and the Tsuchikage stared down the brothers on the rock as the brothers mocked the two Kages. The brothers' speed and velocity were too quick for the eye, and the weapons were swiped, leaving them nowhere to be seen. Days went on, and the Hidden Cloud was in a panic. Their first generational Kage was missing, and their most sacred weapons were gone. The Hidden Cloud prepared for war, offering one of the weapons to the Hidden Stone Village in return for an alliance and their help.
A week passed, and the Raikage and the Tsuchikage were in a meeting within Kumogakure discussing how rewards would be shared after the defeat of the brothers. Suddenly, Kabuki and Haruki appeared on the desk. Kabuki held a vibrant and colorful fan, and Haruki held a steel iron maiden-looking sword. A battle ensued, with the brothers decimating the forces of the two-way allied village. Kabuki shot ferocious wind blasts, and Haruki used the unknown force of incantation and souls. The battle lasted hours before the brothers decided it was finally time to retreat, leaving Kumogakure in shambles and death, with the rocks covered in blood.
Upon leaving Kumogakure, the brothers began to argue about whose weapon was stronger, with the lust for the weapon overcoming their brotherly bond. Kabuki and Haruki decided it was time to part ways. The sheer pain felt by the twin brothers after this led Kabuki to call down the two villages to the Land of Grass. Before telling them that his brother had gone wicked and overcome with lust and had lost sight of the true goals of their intentions. Kabuki laid down his weapon, begging for forgiveness for the deaths he caused. However, this did not fix the hole in his heart, and he later committed suicide due to despair.
More days passed as Haruki faced the second Raikage, Patho A, one-on-one. He was sure he would easily kill Patho, but he had yet to fully understand that he wasn't like that. He was utterly decimated in battle.
This leads into the secret arc of the Oshos Palace… Only 9 individuals seen the area, and only 4 made it out alive.
