Tetsu no Kuni, translated as the Land of Irons, is a rugged and formidable nation known for its harsh climate, rugged terrain, and strict adherence to a warrior code of honor. The land is often covered in snow and ice, making travel difficult and treacherous, especially during the harsh winter months. Despite its harsh environment, Tetsu no Kuni is a thriving industrial hub, known for its advanced metalworking techniques and production of high-quality weapons and armor. The nation's blacksmiths are renowned throughout the ninja world for their craftsmanship and skill. Tetsu no Kuni has a deeply ingrained warrior culture, with its inhabitants valuing strength, discipline, and honor above all else. The nation is governed by a council of elders, composed of seasoned warriors and skilled craftsmen, who uphold the traditions and values of the land.
During the reign of 50th Shogun Kitetsu Kurogane, the Land was fairly prosperous. Despite this, peace and prosperity never last. The Handan, an enemy originally from the mother of 47th Shogun Valentine Tetsu Kurogane's era, decided that their revenge was to be enacted. They revealed themselves from the Shadows, quickly overwhelming the Samurai of the Shinsengumi. Two sqauds of the Handan led the attack, capturing the Kurogane Pastures and Fort Tokugawa respectively. An extremely large loss for the Samurai, so much so that even the High Ranks under the Shogun, started to question their loyalty. That questioning turned into action… during a battle with the Handan the High Ranking members of the Shinsengumi in masks attacked the Shogun. After many hours of fighting, they take out all of the Samurai loyal to the Shogun besides Kitetsu himself. “If I die, you're all coming with me!” Kitetsu ran to Kagetsu, the Lord of Yin's lair, and was killed by him… taking down three of the insurgents with him. After this, the Lord of Yin named Kusunoki Kujo Kurogane the new Shogun. But, his reign wasn't long lived, and was hated by many. The Handan soon took over the Capital… only for them and the Samurai to be driven out of the Land by mysterious forces.
