Senate Guard
Overview
The Senate Guard is an enforcement battalion of humans focused on the protection of the Galactic Senate, including but not limited to the Senate District and members of the Senate. The main force is stationed on Coruscant, however will deploy wherever they are requested by members of the Senate. First led by Commander Torch, they are a formidable force that are trained to do anything to ensure the security of democracy.
Organizational Structure
The Senate Guard is divided into three companies, Main Company, Honor Guard, and Senate Commandos.
The Main Company
- Role: Acting as the primary guardsmen of the Senate Guard, this company is tasked with the general security of the Senate District and Senate members alike.
Their key duties include providing mid-range protection, robust site security, and reinforcing their sister companies with manpower. - Weaponry: Standard issue weaponry alongside the V-38X and DC-15LE for ranks Specialist and above.
- Leadership: The first Company Captain is Captain Vault.
The Honor Guard
- Role: Acting as the ceremonial guardsmen of the Senate Guard, this company is tasked with maintaining ceremonial posts and used only on special occasions.
Their key duties include providing close-range protection, ceremonial duties, and maintaining order during Senate proceedings. - Weaponry: Standard issue weaponry alongside the MK-II Paladin and Electrostaff.
- Leadership: The first Company Captain is Captain Valkores.
The Senate Commandos
- Role: Acting as the quick reaction force of the Senate Guard, this company is tasked with the protection of Senate members outside of Republic territory and the deployment during high-risk situations.
Their key duties include providing long-range protection, counter-terrorism, and covert actions. - Weaponry: Standard issue weaponry alongside Blast Shields, Thermal Detonators and the RPS, Z6, and DP-23 for Corporal and above.
- Leadership: The Company Captain is Captain Starboard
