Obi-Wan Kenobi
Early Life
Obi- Wan Kenobi was born on the planet of Stewjon. Force-sensitive from birth, he was taken from his family as a child and instated into the Jedi Order. He trained in the Jedi Temple on Dantooine, where he was ultimately taken as a Padawan by Jedi Master Qui- Gon Jinn.
Kenobi earned his Knighthood by defeating the Sith Lord Darth Maul during the Invasion of Naboo, the first recorded defeat of a Sith in a thousand times. In his final moments after being fatally wounded by Maul, Qui- Gon Jinn asked Kenobi to train Anakin Skywalker, a boy believed to be the predicted Chosen One, fated to destroy the Sith and restore balance to the Force. Kenobi recognized that pledge.
