Yerbana

Overview

Near the heart of the Galactic Republic lies Yerbana, an ethereal, natural beauty with an aged industrial presence dedicated to the war effort. Located in the core worlds, Yerbana remains a moderate industrial planet for the Galactic Republic. Yerbana remains critical to the war effort as a core world, as it acts as the main connector between the core worlds and critical planets.

From orbit, Yerbana appears as a lightly cloudy, green-filled planet. The surface is filled with an assortment of deep forests, industrial zones, large cityscapes, and oceans. Cities are typically designed to cut through the landscape for stability, reflecting a traditional view of urban planning.

History

In 982 RSY, the Inner Rim Confederacy attempted to intercept food shipments. There was a hard-fought battle between the 21st and the Inner Rim Confederacy, which ultimately led to the food shipments' recovery. The incident resulted in the capture of two Confederacy officers, and no large-scale violence has occurred on the planet since.

Government

The Yerbanan follow a technocracy, where the highest skilled workers get placed into the High Suspension Council, which is made up of the Prime Architect and the Sector Seats. These individuals are responsible for managing system taxes, sector suspension stability, and various other duties. The current Senator for Yerbana is Dorian Malrex, a public figure who acts on the behalf of the Yerbanan people.
