104th Armored Battalion

Overview

The 104th Armored Battalion, known across the Republic as the "Wolf Pack", is one of the Grand Army's most capable combined-arms units. When the galaxy was edging towards open war, defined by the rising Separatists influence and the Trade Federation's accelerating droid production, the 104th filled in a critial gap in the Republic's order of battle. Where other units focus on offense or reconnaissance alone, the Wolf Pack combines armor, infantry, and shock capability under one command, giving the Republic a force that can hold ground as readily as it can seize it.

This battalion embodies bravery, brotherhood, and unyielding determination, they wear distinctive gray armor bearing wolf motifs. These markings are more than aesthetic. They represent the battlion's core identity: a pack that fights as one, protects their own, and does not yield.

Organizational Structure

The 104th Battalion is divided into four companies, Timber Company, Arctic Company, Wolfpack Company, and Warhound Company.

The Timber Company

  • Role: The armored company of the 104th Armored Battalion. This company provides support for Arctic Company.
  • Weaponry: Timber Company utilizes standard issue weapons, alongside armored vehicles.
  • Leadership: The first Company Captain is CO-1732 "Riker", overseeing the support tactics of Timber Company.

The Arctic Company

  • Role: The main force within the 104th Battalion, with the purpose of being the main frontline of the battalion.. This company is supported in some way by each of the other companies of the 104th.
  • Weaponry: Arctic Company utilizes standard issue weapons, alongside armored vehicles.
  • Leadership: As the default infantry company, it is currently led by all battalion leads.

The Wolfpack Company

  • Role: The shock detachment of the 104th Armored Battalion. Tasked with critical missions and completing objectives with higher stakes and risks.
  • Weaponry: Wolfpack Company utilizes standard issue weapons.
  • Leadership: The first Company Captain is CO - 2253 "Blitz", overseeing the dangerous tactics of Wolfpack Company.

The Warhound Company

  • Role: The main reconnaissance force of the 104th Armored Battalion and serves as a spearhead for the battalion as well as the primary tank hunters.
  • Weaponry: Warhound Company utilizes standard issue weapons.
  • Leadership: The first Company Captain is CO - 2747 "Shadow", overseeing the spearhead of the battalion .

The 104th continues to act as the shield of the Army.
