Overview

The 501st Legion, known by many as the "Boys in Blue", is the infantry battalion most known in the Republic for their unconventional tactics and unwavering loyalty. Currently led by Clone Commander "Sylas", and Jedi General Caelen Mere, this battalion is always the first to propose and carry out the unthinkable reckless strategies that turn the tide of battle. When a planetary conflict begins posing unique obstacles for the Republic, the boys in blue serve as the rapid response battalion striking enemies with rapid assaults and and maneuvers.

Organizational Structure

The 501st Legion houses five specialized companies each constructed for the various different missions and objectives the Legion encounters on deployment. Troopers will begin without a company, known as "Shinies" and must obtain the Advanced Infantry Certification designed to accustom new recruits to the unique battlefield tactics that the 501st employs and expects within companies. Troopers can join all companies at the starting rank of Private, apart from Trident which must undergo a tryout and requires Specialist+ to join.

Torrent Company

Torrent Company is the primary infantry force of the legion, tasked with taking the frontline on the battlefield and utilizing heavy weaponry. During defensives, the company acts as the shield for all other companies and the is the first line of defense against the Separatists, taking the first shots and steps in both scenarios.

Torrent Company utilizes standard issue weaponry, alongside weapons such as the Z-6 Rotary Cannon, the RPS-6 Launcher, and the specialized Field Mortars issued solely to qualified Torrent personnel.

Phalanx Company

Phalanx Company are the troopers handling the upkeep and combative capabilities of mechanized vehicles such as the TX-130, playing an extremely vital role during large scale deployments. Phalanx personnel must be qualified through the Vehicle Certification Program in order to operate the TX-130s, tank crews will typically have one driver who fires the main cannons, and a machine gunner on top.

Torrent Company utilizes standard issue weaponry, as their primary role is utilizing the TX-130 Tanks on the battlefield.

332nd Shock Company

The 332nd Shock Company utilizes various hit and run tactics, taking down the enemy from above and constantly repositioning with their Jetpacks to take advantageous angles in combat. With their nimble flight patterns, the 332nd are the fastest troopers within the Legion, able to rapidly descend down and rescue critical state troopers , or quickly take down targets from high altitude.

The 332nd utilizes standard issue weaponry, alongside weapons such as the Z-6 Rotary Cannon, the RPS-6 Launcher, and the DC-15x Sniper. However their primary roles lie within their Jetpacks providing versatile offensive and defensive capabilities.

Trident Company

Trident Company is the elite of the 501st, consisting of ARF troopers who conduct the primary reconnaissance missions for the 501st ahead of their large scale deployments. These troopers also act as QRF and assist SOB units in operations, they may utilize Speeders and Grapple Hooks to maneuver terrain and survey the objective ahead, and lastly can hide their callsign as SOB personnel.

Trident Company utilizes standard issue weaponry, as well as the same qualified weapons as other companies (Z-6, RPS, DC-15x), however they also receive the PLX, a more enhanced rocket launcher.
