CS-1337 "Scorch" (WIP)

Overview

CS-1337 “Scorch,” is a clone who was referred to as “Defective” early on, although no genetic changes from any other. He was held to very low standards from the start of Clone Academy, but that just meant he could prove everyone wrong. He quickly flew through his training and became top of his class all the way to his phase three, making friends along the way. He was selected to lead a group, which he invited his friends to join. They were the fastest graduating class to beat the Citadel, becoming Top Cadets.

Because of this, Scorch was offered a spot to try out for the Republic Commandos, which he instantly accepted. He and his friends from the academy all attended the tryout and passed Phase 1, being the top 8 of about 25 people. However, during Phase 2, technical errors occurred, leading to everyone being forcefully failed, but without letting this hold him, “Scorch” joined the 212th, planning to show his brothers his leadership capabilities.

Military Career

As he rose through the ranks, from BARC Captain to Colonel, Serce became known across the 91st for operating with minimal complaciency. Serce filled the gap and restructured the battlefield planning in a short amount of time. His leadership style blends independence with regimental cohesion. Unlike many ARCs, Serce remains embedded with his men rather than detached, earning fierce loyalty.

Among the 91st, he is regarded as one of the best leaders the 91st has ever seen. Towards the present time of his career as a soldier for the Republic, Serce has been awarded 3 medals for his loyalty and dedication. Firstly, a medal of stellar service awarded to him by Neyo, as well as a graduation medal later awarded for his valor during his training at the Republic Clone Academy. He was then awarded a Republic Cross by CC-1345 "Dofo".

Notable Engagements

Carida War

During a catastrophic defensive failure now referred to as the Wall Massacre, Serce was the sole surviving member of his unit after a coordinated enemy breakthrough. This event marked his transition from a standard trooper to an ARC trooper.

During the Carida War on Pirates, Serce was a Captain of a BARC company, He led high-speed reconnaissance and strike operations across the Carida front. Under his command, the company maintained the lowest casualty rate of any deployed unit during the war. His use of mobile warfare, staggered engagement zones, and preemptive extraction routes minimized losses even in high-risk operations; also, the only significant casualties sustained under his command came during direct encounters with Asajj Ventress, engagements in which Serce adapted quickly, ordering disengagements rather than sacrificing troops in unwinnable duels.

Christophsis Campaign

Serving as a Captain, Serce was responsible for mission planning across multiple operations, working closely with his Lieutenant to coordinate troop movements, supply lines, and orbital support. When his Commander was incapacitated mid-campaign, Serce assumed full battalion command without formal promotion. He successfully coordinated close air support with Republic Navy forces, executing synchronized assaults that broke entrenched CIS positions. Led all of 87th as an acting commander during Samson's absence multiple times. Worked closely and coordinated well with navy, 501st, and 41st during every mission. Commanded all of 87th for the Capital City District of Christophsis.

Ryloth

As Colonel, Serce assumed full operational control of his battalion while his Commander was listed as Leave of Absence. Without direct oversight, he planned and executed every mission across the campaign. In one of the most notable engagements, Serce led a 30-man force deep into CIS-controlled territory to capture a fortified forward outpost. Through careful planning, staggered assaults, and controlled aggression, the objective was secured with only three casualties, an outcome considered exceptional given the circumstances. His leadership during Ryloth solidified his reputation as a commander capable of sustaining high operational success with minimal losses, even in isolation.
