CC-1345 "Dofo"

Early Life

RC-1345, later known by the name Dofo, was a human clone grown on the ocean world of Kamino from the genetic template of the Mandalorian bounty hunter Jango Fett, whose DNA served as the foundation of the Republic’s Grand Army. Unlike standard clone troopers, RC-series commandos were engineered with subtle genetic and psychological enhancements designed to produce soldiers capable of independent action, advanced tactical reasoning, and extreme battlefield adaptability.

From the earliest stages of development, clone commandos were separated from the broader clone population and organized into four-man operational units known as “pods,” reflecting traditional Mandalorian squad doctrine. This structure emphasized brotherhood, initiative, and absolute reliance on one’s squad rather than large-scale formation warfare.

Dofo’s training fell under the supervision of Mandalorian mercenary instructors, most notably Kal Skirata, whose methods diverged sharply from conventional Kaminoan discipline. Skirata instilled in his commandos an unorthodox combat philosophy centered on efficiency, pragmatism, and survival above ceremony. Under his guidance, Dofo learned to favor decisive action, unconventional strategy, and ruthless precision traits that would later define his reputation within the Republic military.

Rise to Power

Following the completion of his advanced commando training on Kamino, RC-1345 was deployed into active service as the Captain of a Republic Commando Squad, entrusted with independent operations requiring precision, secrecy, and decisive execution. From the outset, Dofo distinguished himself through exceptional battlefield awareness and calculated decision-making, successfully completing numerous high-risk assignments without operational failure.

Unlike many officers who rose through seniority alone, Dofo’s promotions were earned through consistent mission success and demonstrated leadership under pressure. His command style balanced Mandalorian-inspired aggression with disciplined Republic doctrine, allowing his unit to operate effectively in both covert special operations and large-scale military engagements.

His early reputation among fellow commandos and clone officers was that of a pragmatic and uncompromising leader respected for protecting his men yet feared for the ruthless efficiency with which he executed objectives. Reports frequently noted his ability to adapt when plans collapsed, often salvaging missions considered unrecoverable by conventional standards.

As his operational record expanded, Dofo advanced rapidly through the Republic military hierarchy:

  • Republic Commando Captain

  • Republic Commando Colonel

  • Commander of the Republic Commandos

  • Regimental Commander of the Special Operations Brigade

During his tenure as a senior commando officer, Dofo forged strong working relationships with naval commanders, intelligence officers, and frontline battalion leaders, believing that special operations forces should act as the strategic bridge between branches of the Republic war machine. These alliances greatly expanded the influence of the Commandos within Republic High Command.

His rise was not without controversy. Some traditional officers criticized his willingness to bypass rigid military protocol when operational success demanded it, arguing that his methods bordered on excessive autonomy. Supporters, however, credited these same traits as the reason behind the Republic’s most decisive victories in asymmetric warfare.

By the time of his appointment as Regimental Commander of the Special Operations Brigade, Dofo’s reputation had reached its peak. Within the Republic, he was widely regarded as a transformative military asset a commander capable of turning small, specialized forces into strategic instruments capable of altering the course of entire campaigns.

Military Career

RC-1345’s military career evolved beyond conventional commando service as the Clone Wars intensified and the Republic required leaders capable of coordinating unconventional warfare across multiple fronts. RC-1345 has earned the rank of Republic Commando Captain, Colonel, Commander, and now the Regimental Commander of the Special Operations Brigade. Each promotion followed operational success rather than political sponsorship. Dofo became known within Military High Command as a commander who consistently delivered results under extreme operational pressure.

Throughout RC-1345's military career he has
participated in numerous classified campaigns against Confederacy of Independent Systems strongholds, primarily focusing on:

  • Deep infiltration operations targeting CIS logistics networks

  • Planetary reconnaissance preceding Republic invasions

  • Counter-insurgency and intelligence stabilization missions

  • Special operations support during major fleet engagements

His doctrine emphasized preparing the battlefield before conventional forces arrived, significantly reducing Republic casualties during later invasions.

As Regimental Commander, Dofo has authority over the Republic Intelligence Bureau, The Republic Marauders, Advance Recon Commandos, Republic Commando Units and Advanced Recon Force. This marked one of the first instances in which intelligence, reconnaissance, and elite strike forces operated under a single unified command structure. Dofo, has made multiple major decisions as Regimental Commander, he has integrated intelligence operations directly into invasion planning, authorized decentralized battlefield authority for elite clone units, prioritized precision strikes over prolonged attritional warfare, and established the Special Operations as a strategic command rather than an auxiliary support. Despite success, critics within the traditional High Command argued that Dofo’s reliance on autonomous units weakened centralized military control. Several Senators expressed concern over classified operations conducted with limited civilian oversight. Dofo’s leadership permanently altered Republic military doctrine. Special Operations forces transitioned from isolated specialist teams into a central pillar of Republic war strategy, influencing how future campaigns were planned and executed.

Personal Life

Dofo is described as disciplined, calculating, and composed under pressure. He rarely raises his voice and commands authority through presence rather than intimidation. Among clone troopers, he is regarded as a commander who understands them not as assets, but as brothers. Outside of combat operations, Dofo dedicates his time to weapons maintenance, tactical simulation review, and physical conditioning routines rooted in Mandalorian training culture. Personal recreation remains minimal, reflecting a life shaped almost entirely by military service.

Speeches

"Before the Battle Begins"

The enemy prepares for armies.
They prepare for fleets.
They do not prepare for us.

Our duty is not to fight the longest battle
it is to end the war before the first shot is fired.
We move first. We strike precisely.
And the Republic endures.
