Eighth Kazekage - Souta Yome

Overview

Souta Yome is the current Eighth Kazekage. Before his rise to Kage, Souta had served as a councilman of Sunagakure during the second term of Aladdin Namikaze. As a councilman, he was known as one of the few shinobi to take charge during the turmoil following the war resulting in Iwagakure's disbandment, a leader of the people. Since then, he's risen to be one of Sunagakure's most prominent shinobi.

Early Life

A native of the Far Western Land of Wind, also known as the 'Deep Desert', Souta had grown up alongside his three siblings, raised by Lairo Yome and his mother, Kanako Yome. As the oldest of the group, Souta had always felt an obligation to protect his siblings and often found himself leading them in their ventures. Life in the desert was not easy; the family would move from settlement to settlement in the harsh heat before settling in Sunagakure during the era of Tall Yome.

Abilities

Wind Proficiency - The element of Sunagakure, Souta, as the Kazekage, has trained in its ways, giving him mastery most wouldn't have over the Wind nature. Water Proficiency - As a member of the Yome clan, as well as through training, Souta has been able to elevate his mastery over water jutsu higher than most. Chunyun - A serum from the island nation of Bujan, it situationally gives the user a boost in strength.
