Alderaan

Alderaan, where culture blooms among mountain peaks.

Overview

Alderaan is one of the oldest and most respected worlds within the Galactic Republic. Located in the Core Worlds, the planet remains at the heart of galactic civilization, not through military strength or economic power, but through culture, diplomacy, and the commitment to peace. It's known as the planet of beauty, a reputation earned over a millennium, and one that its people wear with quiet pride.

From orbit, Alderaan appears as blue-green orb wrapped in white clouds; its surface is composed of sweeping mountain ranges, dense forests, and wide plains only broken by rivers and polar seas. Cities are built into the landscape rather than cut through it with its stone architecture built to complement the terrain. The planet's philosophy is written into its skyline.

In 981 RSY, that identity comes under pressure. Queen Breha Organa governs from the Royal Palace in Aldera, upholding the traditions that have defined Alderaan for generations. But the population's voice belongs to its senator, Tyrion Goldarn, the first non-noble senator in modern Alderaanian history, and a man whose vision for Alderaan looked nothing like it's past. His rise in politics fractured lines that run deeper than any policy debate. The question facing Alderaan in 981 RSY is no longer about the future of the Republic. It's about what Alderaan itself wants to become.
