Alderaan is one of the oldest and most respected worlds within the Galactic Republic. From orbit, Alderaan appears as blue-green orb wrapped in white clouds; its surface is composed of sweeping mountain ranges, dense forests, and wide plains only broken by rivers and polar seas. Cities are built into the landscape rather than cut through it with its stone architecture built to complement the terrain. The planet's philosophy is written into its skyline.
