At the beginning of their house, there was little to them other than their fighting spirit and their loyalty to each other, but under Canderous during the Mandalorian Wars, they were some of the most feared warriors among all of the Mandalorian force. Following the tragic end of the Mandalorian Wars, and the forces split across the galaxy, Canderous took up the mantel, Mand'alor the Preserver, who aimed to reunite the Mandalorian people.
He sought to rebuild the Mandalorian people to their previous strength. Him and his Clan are justified as the proprietors of the rebuild and forever held as a symbol of the Mandalorian spirit for generation to come.
The Mandalorian Wars
In the days of the old republic and during Mandalore's great expansion, they were moving rapidly through Republic territory. They believed the Republic had grown weak in peacetime and sought to take territory to prove their dominance. Led by Mandalore the Ultimate.
Lead by the revered Jedi commanders Revan and Malak, they coined themselves the Revanchists. Set on stopping the Mandalore expansion and saving the Republic.
The Battle of Malachor V
In the climax of the war, Revan had prepared a trap for the Mandalorian's at Malachor to destroy a majority of their army in one swoop. They had a superweapon known as the Mass Shadow Generator. It would manipulate the planets gravitational field and create a large catastrophe. The results would be devastating on both sides. Both Mandalorian and Republic ships were destroyed as well as ground forces. It's estimated that upwards of millions died.
Following this battle, the events of the salvation of Mandalore took place, and Canderous took his place as the Mand'alor.
