The Royal Government of Humanity

The Royal Government is classified as a Constitutional Monarchy; the Monarchy is led by the Monarch (King or Queen), who is bound in certain aspects by the Constitution of Humanity, and there is, of course, a Constitution which provides the frameworks for Governmental and Societal structures. The Monarch is by all means the head of state, however they are not the head of government, as that title is held by the Prime Minister. Within the framework of the Government exists a federalist structure of governance, where there is a distinct separation of powers between the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches of government.

The Constitution of Humanity, and by extension of that, the Royal Government, are tools to be used by the People of the Walls in achieving societal benefit and regulating social behavior, whether wanted or unwanted. The Royal Government provides humanity a multifaceted role as the primary creator, arbitrator, and enforcer of society's laws, in addition to being a structure that civilians and the military look to for guidance during times of crisis or need. The role of government can be succinctly defined as providing order and protection to society.

Political Parties are a way to show your support for specific ideologies, bills, and/or members of the Congress. They serve as lobbyists during the open forum and during party-specific PDs. Party members may only suggest legislation and give opinions; they have no direct involvement in the Assembly. Because of this, anyone can join a party as an official member, rather than just a supporter. You may only be a member of one party at any time.

The National Eldian Party (NEP) is a party of complete loyalty to the Royal Government and Eldia. “Eldianism” is a thought process dedicated to ensuring our national values and united identity is preserved through the enforcement of the Royal Government as a strong source of leadership and power inside of the Walls. The NEP aims to keep the government running optimally and at full capacity at all times, working to prevent anarchy, crime, corruption, violent rebellion, foreign invaders and more as some of our main goals. We believe Eldia should always keep her interests as the number one priority, as to keep our sovereignty over our homeland. We believe everyone should be loyal to their homeland and protect it when trouble arises. Their position on the political compass is Authoritarian-Right. Their Ideologies are Nationalism, Loyalism and Stateism. Their quote is: “Eldianists, arise!”

The Federalist Coalition Party (FCP) stand for the maximization of autonomy, and political freedom and to minimize the state's influence by advocating for a smaller and less bureaucratic government. The FCP believes that the state will always be a necessary evil and therefore should be limited so that the encroachment and violation of individual liberties can be minimized. The FCP emphasizes the rule of law, pluralism, cosmopolitanism, cooperation, civil and political rights, bodily autonomy, free association, free trade between districts, freedom of expression, freedom of choice, freedom of movement, individualism and voluntary association. The FCP also advocates for reforming the constitution, which should bind the people's power together against any form of tyranny, they are ought to be the guiding tenets of society in the form of a social contract based on voluntarism. The people within the walls should be free to flourish in their own ways, and to pursue their own happiness, thus opposing any form of authority. Their position on the political compass is Libertarian-right. Their ideologies are Classical Liberalism, Conservatism, Laissez-Faire, Paleolibertarianism, Fiscal Conservatism, Minarchism, Non-interventionism, and Anti-PAP. Their quote is: “Do not tread”

The Monarchist Movement Party (MMP) is a centrist political party that supports the preservation and promotion of the monarchy as an institution. The party holds a centrist perspective on left and right wing politics, and aims to bridge the gap between the two extremes. The party promotes balance, representation, and consensus among politicians and citizens. The party understands the importance of progressive values, such as social and economic equality, and works towards creating a more just and equitable society. At the same time, it also recognizes the importance of conservative values, such as tradition, stability, and personal responsibility, and works to preserve and promote these values. The party prioritizes representation of the interests of the monarchy and the citizens, and works to ensure that the government is responsive to the needs and concerns of the people. The party promotes a culture of compromise and dialogue among politicians, with the goal of finding consensus and creating a more united and stable government. The party is also open to change and evolution, and adapts its principles to changing social and political context of the country, while preserving and promoting the traditional values and institution of the monarchy. The party believes that the preservation of the monarchy is crucial for the unity of the country and its citizens, and works towards that goal, while promoting and advocating for a balance of left and right wing. Their position on the political compass is the center. Their ideologies are Monarchism, Centrism, Moderate, Big Tent, Representation, Consensus-Building, Adaptation & Responsiveness, and National Unity & Tradition. Their quote is: “Bridging the divide, for a stronger and more united nation under the monarchy.”

The People’s Action Party (PAP) supports a platform that seeks to help lift the People of the Walls and provide for a better, safer, and stronger world for us all. We believe that people should be able to live their personal lives in whichever way they choose, and we oppose the economic exploitation of the poor that so often lines the pockets of the exceptionally wealthy. Fairness and equality are important tenets to the PAP, and we believe everyone must pay their fair share. We hope to expand the role of the Royal Government in providing access to health care and education, and in ascertaining that workers rights are protected through labor unions, minimum wage laws, and worker safety laws. It’s time the Government worked for its people, and not the other way around. Their position on the political compass is Center-Left. Their ideologies are Modern Liberalism, Social Equality, Progressivism, and Anti-FCP. Their quote is: “The party of the people.”

The Prime Minister (PM). The leader of the Royal Government, tasked with providing an executive leadership to the government in tandem with his or her appointed Deputy Prime Minister(s). The Prime Minister most notably functions as the primary overseer of the Royal Government, maintaining that all of its respective ministries and governmental branches are functioning as smoothly and optimally as possible. He or she can also create new ministries that operate under the direction and guidance of the Executive Branch. The Prime Minister also takes up a role in overseeing the military and its branches, maintaining that no violations of the law or corruption is occurring. The current Prime Minister is Kell Lubren.

The Deputy Prime Minister (DPM). The co-leader of the Royal Government, tasked with providing leadership to the government in tandem with the Prime Minister. If the Prime Minister position were to ever become vacant, then the Deputy Prime Minister would assume all duties of the former and become the new PM. These individuals participate in the Ministry of Legislation as the tie-breaking vote, most notably, and are tasked with overseeing whatever ministries the Prime Minister appoints them to. They are, in effect, tasked with whatever obligations or duties that are delegated to them by the Prime Minister. The current Deputy Prime Minister is Julius Caesar.

The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) is the Government's courts, and they help to ensure equal and fair justice under the Constitution of Humanity, law, and Monarch. They maintain that each individual receives a fair and impartial trial, and that no individuals' rights are infringed upon at all prior to, during, or directly following the judicial process. These adjudicators of the law uphold it to the highest standard, and maintain that justice is properly served within the walls. They also may determine the legality of a particular law or action, through their Constitutional power of Judicial Review, and through the enactment of the Supreme Court of the Walls. The current Supreme Justice of The Walls is Ada B. Luciano. There is currently no Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Justice. There is currently no Chief Justice.

The Ministry of Legislation (MoL) is the Government's Royal Congress that serves to create laws and acts to the Constitution of Humanity. It is composed of representatives from districts, territories, branches, and various groups across the walls, all for the purpose of designing legislature that will best serve and fit their respective groups of people. The Ministry of Branch Representatives (MoBR) is a subsidiary of the Ministry of Legislation, serving as the primary means by which the military and various groups across the walls can voice their opinion to the government. Each branch/group elects their representative to represent them in the Royal Congress in tandem with the Ministry of Legislation.

The currently governed Districts are Trost, Krolva, Karanese, and Ehrmich. Quinta, Shiganshina, and Holst aren't governed as of now due to the fall of Wall Maria. The Governor of these districts are the primary governmental executive of the region, tasked with providing leadership and governance to all inhabitants of their district. They generally have full control over district-related policies, such as military fly-zones, and can call for military action, a state of emergency, and other actions to be made on a case-by-case basis.

They can also set the tax rate for their districts, can distribute medals to individuals who have achieved highest honors inside their district, and can set forth any laws that they and their team wish to impose on the residents and visitors to their district.

Governors also reserve the authority to create ministry personnel positions for their respective districts, to aid them in providing leadership to their constituency, and Governors actively work with the Representatives from their Districts to ascertain that their constituency's interests are being served by their representatives in the Royal Congress.

The Ministry of Security (MoS) is the Government's security force, tasked with the protection of government officials and functions. They maintain that any threats that may possibly come in the way of our governmental duties are swiftly dealt with, and these individuals are held to the highest standard. Individuals are selected from inside of and outside the military, to develop a team of individuals poised towards the protection and security of the Royal Government, so that it may function with stability and maintain the integrity. The current Chief Security Officer is Cody K. Luciano. The current Deputy Chief Security Officer is Gabboli Smith. Darnell Sugimoto, the former Prime Minister, came to be the Prime Minister through the Ministry of Security. He changed the Ministry of Security in many ways in his time, most notably alongside former Deputy Chief Security Officer Nate Hanz and former Deputy Chief Security Officer Hezekiah Luciano.

The Ministry of Health (MoH) handles medical operations such as surgery and provides first aid to anyone in need of assistance. Their main goal is to provide better safety and medical security to all citizens of the walls. Additionally, they work alongside units from the military in order to develop medical knowledge and research, strengthening their bonds with the branches in order to benefit humanity. They also work close with the Ministry of Security. The current Surgeon General is Kell Lubren. The current Deputy Surgeon General is Stey Y. Valentine.
