Overview
The Lee Clan arc takes place a few short years after the conclusion of the Great Clan Wars that took place in the Land of Fire. While most of the village had come together to support the founding of a new age that should have brought peace and prosperity, others still held deep-rooted grudges.
Raid and Investigation
On the anniversary of Konohagakure's founding, an attack was launched on the village. First Hokage, Vane Senju was able to defeat the assailants, but they were warned that this was just the beginning.
Konoha shinobi were able to trace the assailants back to the Land of Grass, a small village near the border of the Land of Fire and Land of Earth. They watched it for a bit, seeing many Lee clan members roaming about. Vane Senju determined that it was the Lee clan who had attacked the village and planned to respond accordingly.
Burning of the Land of Grass
Not much is known about what transpired during the night Kusagakure was attacked and burned to the ground. All that was left were the corpses of several Lee.
The Cave Incident
Several weeks later, Konoha responded to a call to a farm when rogues attacked. The farm had many Lee on it, who aided in helping Konoha track down the rogues. Upon tracking them to a cave near the Land of Earth, Konoha shinobi were able to subdue them; however, in the scuffle, the cave's entrance collapsed. Luckily, the Lee were able to free the shinobi. As the shinobi left the cave, they had an encounter with the Hokage, who arrived shortly before to aid his shinobi. Not much is known about that transpired, though the Lee were able to return to their farm.
The next week, a light pierced the sky and a barrier trapped the Hokage. Shinobi immediately rushed to the scene and came upon [REDACTED]. Vane Senju was able to free himself from the barrier and help his shinobi subdue the Lee clan.
