A Perilous Beginning
Nathan Kamizuru was born in the Stone Village during the rise of Crow Uzumaki's reign. The village had recently suffered a decline under the leadership of Sosuke Kamizuru, but following a coup, a new Kage emerged to take control. Nathan was born into this revitalized village and quickly distinguished himself with his prodigious skills, rising rapidly to become one of Iwagakure's Anbu operatives.
Distinguishing Himself
Nathan participated in the conflict with the Kirigakure Village, during which the newly appointed Yujin Miyajima assassinated the current Mizukage. However, soon after, Iwagakure faced disbandment due to accusations against Vane Senju, prompting Nathan to flee with the Shibuki Blade he had retrieved from the war. He lived on the run alongside his friend Sloop Uchiha, who was eventually captured by Kirigakure's Anbu Division. Sloop traded the Shibuki Blade for his life.
Later, Nathan settled in the Leaf Village, where one of their Jonins, Chaos Hoshigaki, was attacked by the Village Hidden in the Sand. Chaos was killed, but Nathan managed to seize his Samehada blade before the attackers could claim it. A few days later, he relinquished the Samehada to aid the current Hokage, Rui Hyuga, in obtaining a new leg, enhancing his ability to protect Konohagakure. Nathan continued to support Konohagakure in its conflicts with Sunagakure, claiming many enemy shinobi lives, including those of Minito Chinoike and Ant Yome.
Leader's Ambition
While Nathan was resting in the Leaf Village, a shinobi named Hyato Uzumaki approached him with a proposition: to restore Iwagakure with Nathan as its leader. Fueled by this new purpose, Nathan confronted rogue factions in the Land of Stone, eliminating threats and defeating the Miyajima and Kamizuru Clan Elders. His strength was pivotal in reviving Iwagakure, and he took on the mantle of Tsuchikage, leading the village through a rebuilding phase.
A Martyrs Fate
Following the rebirth of Iwagakure, trouble loomed as Konohagakure and Sunagakure launched a raid, led by Birkin Hyuga. During the battle, Nathan lost his right-hand man, Hyato Uzumaki, as well as Tokito Uchiha, who sacrificed himself to save Nathan's life. In a desperate struggle, Nathan faced Dan Hyuga. In the fight, Nathan's chakra would begin to swell, and bees would cover his body. His ambition to live would shine through, and he would fight another day.
Realizing his time was running out, Nathan stepped down from the position of Tsuchikage, appointing Ni Miyajima as his successor while he took a step back to rest in the village. Years later during Midas Kamizuru's reign, he would serve as a guiding hand, helping to empower the village ambition, and Will of Stone he had helped carve.
Will Unwavering
As tensions remained high between Iwagakure and Konohagakure, Nathan worked tirelessly to minimize casualties in his village. He thwarted numerous attacks from both Chunin and Jonin, but eventually encountered Ikari Uchiha, who caught him by surprise. The two exchanged a brief but intense gaze before battle erupted between them. Outgunned and realizing his back was against the wall, Nathan embodied the Will of Stone, refusing to flee and choosing instead to fight until his last breath. Ultimately, he was slain by Ikari Uchiha in the Land of Grass in 14 V.E.
