For fear of his safety, Shiro would send his son to Sunagakure so he would be able to manifest his ability far from the reach of the Samurai Creed. Ni's early life in Sunagakure was difficult. He would always feel out of touch with everyone else… an outcast from being a Miyajima in the Sand Village. He one day found Midas Kamizuru, and they quickly built a relationship that would last a lifetime. They made a vow that they would restore the homeland of both of their clans, Iwagakure. With eyes set on reviving Iwagakure and become clan-heads for their respective clans. They would go on to navigate the challenges of life together.

Revival of Iwagakure

Ni Miyajima was approached by Hyato Uzumaki and Nathan Kamizuru to join a group of theirs; one that shared a vision with Ni and Midas. Feeling a need to revive the village his grandfather Yujin Miyajima had doomed, he would set out on a journey to revive stone. Ni attempted to reach the rank of chunin by attending the Chunin Exams under the Chunin Exams Committee, before ulitimately failing. Ni decided to slash his headband and go rogue to join Nathan Kamizuru in his journey to restore Iwagakure. Ni would eventually rise to the rank of Chunin and assist Nathan in completing his goal of restore the Stone Village.

Battle for Iwagakure

During this time Iwagakure would be forced into a conflict between Sunagakure and Konohagakure, in battle, Ni fought valiantly attempting to protect the place he called home. During the battle Ni was announced the rank of Jonin after 6 months of being a shinobi, and at the age of 13 he had been classified the youngest jonin of all time.

Expedition to Avalon

Ni Miyajima, along with 13 others would enter Avalon in search to help out the nation, working alongside the two other great nations, they would venture in. During this time, Nathan Kamizuru, the Fourth Tsuchikage, decided it would be time to pass on the torch of Tsuchikage. After a mere nine months of Ni's journey as a shinobi, he was crowned Tsuchikage; this made him the youngest kage of all time. This fact caused the other nations and people to look down upon him, thinking he was child's play or too weak to bare the hat of Tsuchikage, but under his time leading he prove he was competent enough to bear the title and vowed to always protect stone. In Avalon, he would gamble a small amount of two lumen all the way to one hundred eighty to pay off the debt of his villagers. Many would begin calling him “The Black Hand” for his great gambling skills. Though, Ni, still being inexperienced, would venture into Fihara lands, a place where he had no jurisdiction in being in. His trespassing caused his removal and exiling from Avalon. Even so, Ni would attempt to help his shinobi from the outside, and under his tutelage and leadership he would gain 12 new Jonin out of the expedition. With the lowest amount of deaths among the great villages.

Leadership and Ideology

Ni understood the pain of war and the suffering it causes from a young age. He vowed to never begin fights and to only ever fight to protect the home he loves, Iwagakure. Konohagakure was strong and even if he would be overpowered he would always stand for what he believes is right. Some called him an unmovable object with how difficult it was for him to break his ideologies, he also would fight for his enemies, during the war of the cultist vs leaf Ni Miyajima would jump into action swiftly saving the life of many leaf shinobi. Gaining the respect of the leaf shinobi of that generation.. “Everyone dies, the goal was never to live forever but to create something that will.” and even with a weak body he decided to have a strong heart and attempted to pass this on to newer generations.

Legacy

Ni's story is a story of adversity and difficulty, knowing the situation his village was in he decided to always do what was best for peace and to continued to strive for it. He aimed to prevent the war between Iwagakure and Konohagakure, and so Ni Miyajima decided to jump into the void leaving the village to Midas Kamizuru, and Iwagakure its newfound peaceful state. Peace does not mean pacifism and Ni would always fight if it meant to protect his village, Going down as one of the most peaceful Tsuchikages. His spirit still continues to resonate within those who bear the stone crest on their foreheads today.

The Black Hand

Ni had seen and experienced it all, but now he found himself at a standstill—stuck and lacking nearly any motivation to go further. With seemingly no end in sight, he decided to trek to the Land of Tea, driven by nothing more than sheer boredom. Lost and unaware, he wandered through the landscape, meeting new friends and revisiting the land from which he had been exiled. Despite the setbacks, Ni remained undeterred, pushing forward.

Years had passed with little to occupy him or achieve, and during this barren stretch, his friends began to fall away, one by one. In the end, he lost every new companion he had made, leaving him more adrift than ever.

As Ni stood in contemplation of his very existence, a shadowy figure approached. The figure asked him, “Have you lost it all?”. Without a word, Ni walked toward the stranger, a broken man seemingly indifferent to his plight. As he stared into the figure’s eyes, a haze rolled in around them. Ni would be seen walking back home to Iwa, seemingly repeating a phrase. Ni rarely spoke of what transpired next, but what he would share is this: Always Bet on Black.
