Praxis Vordana

Overview

Praxis Vordana is the current Head Academist of the Republic Clone Academy and a standing member of Military High Command. A figure of immense intellect and discipline, Vordana is credited with revolutionizing the training protocols of the Republic’s forces.

Early History & Education

Born into the heart of the Republic on Coruscant in 911 RSY, Vordana’s early childhood is a matter of speculation, with few official records existing prior to his enrollment in the Coruscant Military College. It was here that he first distinguished himself, not through physical prowess alone, but through aptitude for strategy. Praxis graduated with top honors in Advanced Military Education Theory and Strategy. 

Family History

Praxis has six children, from oldest to youngest: Cassian (32), Revna (29), Lucius (26), twins Kade and Kordek (24), and Elara (19), who recently graduated with top honors from the Coruscant Military College.  

ELARA VORDANA

Elara Vordana is a Senior Instructor within the Law Enforcement Academy and a Republic Clone Academy instructor, known for her quiet authority, sharp wit, and strict but effective teaching style. Born on Coruscant in 960 RSY and graduating with honors, she rose quickly through the ranks, though her relationship with her brother Kade remains strained following a family rift that left them estranged.

TWINS KADE AND KORDEK VORDANA

Kade Vordana is a blunt, often difficult but highly effective man who is fiercely committed to what he believes is right. Once kinder in his youth, he changed after the death of his mother during his sister Elara’s birth, a loss that left him with lasting grief, resentment, and depression that still shapes his hardened personality today.

Kordek Vordana is a Senior Instructor at the Cadet Academy known for his calm, approachable demeanor, though he can be strict and serious when necessary. Born on Coruscant in 958 RSY, he graduated with honors and rose through the Academy ranks, earning recognition for his mentorship and eventually overseeing instructors in his section, while maintaining neutrality during the conflict between his siblings Kade and Elara.

LUCIUS VORDANA

Lucius Vordana is the Staff Instructor and second-in-command of the Law Enforcement Academy, known for his calm, approachable demeanor and strong sense of duty, though he becomes firm and strict when the Republic’s standards are challenged. Born on Coruscant in 956 RSY, he graduated with honors from the Coruscant Military College and rose quickly through the Academy ranks, forming close ties with enforcement units and serving as a key figure alongside Chief Instructor Dralid.  He is especially protective of his youngest sister Elara, often taking a guiding role in her life, while also helping manage tensions between his siblings and ensuring the Academy’s operations run smoothly on Kamino.

REVNA VORDANA

Revna Vordana is an Instructor at the Officer Academy on Carida, known for her strict, disciplined approach and cold, evaluative presence that demands precision and accountability from every cadet. Born on Coruscant in 953 RSY, she rose through the Republic’s military education system with distinction, earning a reputation for being highly analytical, uncompromising, and deeply committed to maintaining order and excellence within the officer corps.

CASSIAN VORDANA

Cassian Vordana is a Senior Instructor within the Republic Clone Academy, known for his sharp tactical mind, unconventional teaching style, and equally notorious self-destructive habits. Born on Coruscant in 950 RSY, he graduated with distinction from the Coruscant Military College, but his life was deeply affected by his mother’s death during his sister Elara’s birth, leading to long-term grief he masks with alcohol and reckless behavior.  Despite his instability and frequent disciplinary issues, Cassian played a key role in training clone forces during the Volken Mandate, in 975 RSY producing highly adaptive soldiers through his unorthodox methods. Though often seen as unreliable, his effectiveness in the field has made him both a liability and an invaluable asset to the Republic.

ALORA VORDANA

Praxis' wife, Alora, born in 911 RSY on Coruscant, served in the Republic Intelligence Agency after graduating from the Coruscant Military College, where she met Praxis. The two married after graduation and built both a family and military careers, with Alora earning strong respect within intelligence for her skill and dedication.  She was described as having long black hair, bright blue eyes, and faint freckles. She gave birth to six children, showing particular closeness with the twins in their early years. Alora tragically died at 45 from complications during the birth of her youngest, Elara, leaving behind six children, including a newborn daughter and a grieving family.

Late Life

For decades prior to his current assignment, Vordana served as the Republic’s premier military education advisor. He did not seek fame on the frontlines; instead, he forged the officers who would go on to be commissioned for the Republic.

The Volken Mandate (975 RSY)

In 975 RSY, the trajectory of Vordana's career shifted permanently. Recognizing that the Republic required a new breed of soldier, Supreme Chancellor Volken personally summoned Vordana to a closed-door meeting on Coruscant. Volken entrusted him with a dual mandate: to assume command of the Republic Clone Academy, where he would standardize and refine the training of clone troopers, and to push the boundaries of cloning itself and advancing beyond mere replication to develop innovations that enhance military efficiency, adaptability, and strategic capability. Vordana accepted, viewing the Academy not as a school, but as a laboratory. To him, the cadets are both students and vital experiments in the pursuit of tactical perfection.

At 67 years old, Praxis Vordana remains the central pillar of the Republic's military education. He is often seen on Kamino, to orchestrate the future of the Clones for the Republic. He stands today as the living embodiment of the Republic’s military ideal: disciplined, intellectual, and relentless.

Praxis Vordana is a man of absolute method. He is known to be stern, exacting, and emotionally detached, yet he commands deep respect for his fairness. He values intellect and initiative above blind obedience.

Creations

In 980 RSY, Praxis Vordana commissioned a Consular-Class Light Cruiser for use by his Academy. Now designated the Consular-Class “Praxeum,” the vessel serves primarily as a transportation vessel and is operated by a crew composed of Kamino Guard personnel and members of Vordana’s staff, with Academy pilot CO-9236 “Viper” at the helm.
