Overview

Croid is a clone officer serving as the Deputy Director of Republic Intelligence, currently holding the rank of Colonel. Throughout his military career, he has served in several Republic military divisions, including the 5th Fleet, the 41st, and the Republic Marauders. It's wild to think he's served so many battalions! His extensive experience across numerous warfronts has made him a seasoned officer with considerable combat and leadership experience. Despite his accomplishments, Croid's career has come at a considerable cost, with the loss of countless brothers in battle leaving him as the sole survivor of his former battalion.

Military Career

Croid began his military career in the 5th Fleet, serving within Exogorth Company, where he eventually rose to the rank of Warrant Officer. He later transferred to the 41st, joining Nox Company as a Private before eventually joining the Republic Marauders. During his time with the Marauders, Croid attained the rank of Captain and led Purge Company through numerous operations.

Throughout his years of frontline service, Croid developed considerable proficiency in precision marksmanship, intelligence gathering, and close-quarters combat. His experience across numerous battlefields earned him a reputation as a particularly lethal combatant. 

Croid's service with the Republic Marauders also left him connected to one of the most controversial events in his military history: the bombing of the Galactic Senate. Following the incident and the eventual dissolution of the Marauders as an active unit, Croid secretly continued his service within Republic Intelligence. With many of his former brothers lost, he was left among the few remaining individuals who carried firsthand memories of the battalion and its actions.

After transferring to Republic Intelligence, Croid eventually attained the rank of Major while commanding a highly classified squad known as 'Republic Covert Operations' . The details of this squad remain restricted, with little information available outside authorized channels. He continued to advance through the ranks, eventually attaining the rank of Colonel and being appointed Deputy Director of Republic Intelligence.

Project LIFELINE

Though his career within the Republic Intelligence has him stretched within the Galaxy, and the Outer Rim, he is currently working with the Office of Intelligence and Analysis on Project LIFELINE, one of the Bureau's closest kept projects. The experiments are currently taking place on Balmorra, where the Republic extends it's influence.
