Geonosis

Overview

Located 43000 light years from the Galactic Core, the almost uninhabitable planet of Genonosis sits as one of the major CIS droid factory planets in the Clone Wars. With a population of nearly 100 billion, with 99% of that number being the resident Genonosians, the planet is a harsh, rocky desert, with a breathable atmosphere. The sky is tinted bright shades of red due to its 2 suns. Orbited by 15 moons, and an asteroid belt. Underneath the great spires and arid climate, lay a massive tunnel system stretching for thousands of miles. 

Society and Culture

Genonosis, though controlled by a monarchy, are all connected through an ancient hive mind. Each Geonosian is connected to one another through the queen. They can apparently speak telepathically through one another. 

Government

Led by the CIS backed leader Poggle the Lesser, the billions of Genonosians serve under him as a sort of spawn. 

Rumors are told of a hive queen who is the heart of all hive mind on the planet.
